China announces it's imposing new tariffs on 128 US products

a lot high tech silicon are design in US and made either in US or SE asia or china. all the top end phone CPU are used design chip, that's one place no one can substitute. China can purchase more airbus, or plane engine from EU though.

 

China started all of this.

They don't want free trade.

 

and trump just doing it wrong, maybe he should learn a trick or two from art of war. what he should done is get EU and other allies to pressure china together, but No, he piss them off. Now EU/S.america/etc benefit most as China prepare buying more beef, soybean from countries such as aussies, brazil and other place.

 

Yes it can sometimes seem like a game of Whack-a-mole

But its still easier for us to slap the tariff on vietnam also than for china to move production there
