Sure, if you don't mind skunked budweiser. It's just a sh*tty mass produced weak lager that's been exposed to sunlight. Blecht.
On the bright side, people don't look at you sideways when you squeeze a lime into it.

One patient got into the US through mexico.

I saw footage of Wuhan airport staff checking passengers temps with a temporal thermometer.

    Thats a very poor screen.

No, really, that's the last thing anyone wants to do. Not in China, Canada or here in the US. Believe it or not, panic in large cities like Wuhan can cause unrelated trauma too. It's also economically a disaster to try locking down any large city. It's costing China well over a billion a day in lost work. It's no different here. If we start closing down transport centers needlessly, it will cost plenty.

I know. My comment was somewhat tongue-in-cheek.

Right now, they (the CDC) are screening people who are travelling to the U.S. from Wuhan. If Wuhan has closed their airport, then no one is getting out of there. It seems to me like they are doing all that is practical, at this moment.

    Q. Is the gestation period for this "bug" 5-7 days? That would seem to add a bit more to the story, but that is just my uninformed opinion.

I think it's about a week. They've said it can be transmitted asymptomatically...so that is a concern. People could pass it along before they know they have it.

Maybe in China they should stop eating rat, bat, and snake meat.

So China is supposedly building a new 1000-bed hospital just for coronavirus patients in 5 days, start to finish. The only updates I can find looks like they are still levelling the ground after 3 days.

Plus....they say the new hospital is not close to any water source (to prevent the water from becoming contaminated with the virus. Question though: If the hospital is not close to a water source, how is the hospital supposed to provide water to 1000 patients plus staff. o_O

Obviously, building codes in China are much different than they are here.

Gross....I did read about bat and rat soup as a possible cause.

Is this video real or a joke?

I don't know about the video, but the Chinese pride themselves on being able to eat anything and everything.

They do eat bats, and baby rats.
