A group of 12 major organizations of Christian educators is preparing to embrace changes in teaching and learning amid a continued rise in enrollments in faith-based K-12 schools, a press statement announced Monday.

“The last two years have shown the advantage Christian schools have in being nimble in serving students and their families with excellence,” said Lynn Swaner, chairperson of Converge 2022, a conference that plans to welcome nearly 750 attendees in San Diego in March to focus on how to meet the needs of the growing numbers of students coming to faith-based schools from the public sector.

Among the host organizations for the conference is the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), which, last year, saw a 12 percent increase in enrollment at its affiliated K-12 schools, the press statement noted.

his is great news. Private schools are better at meeting students education needs than public schools. Christian schools don’t inflict CRT and 1619 propaganda upon their students. Christian private schools hold students to higher moral and academic standards.

Home schools are growing fast too and draining public schools of students. Those with the means are voting with their feet so to speak when public school boards refuse to listen to parents.

Excellent hopefully there is far less Marxist indoctrination.

I'm surprised and pleased to see how quickly homeschooling has increased.

In California there is a measure coming up that would give parents 15k per pupil if they homeschooling.

Groups of 10-15 like minded parents host those children and a private school teacher 2-3 days a month.

Parents also act as teacher aids taking an active role in what kids are learning.

This would easily surpass public schools which have very low standards.

At the end of the year any funding not spent goes into the child's college fund.
