Christians Win. Liberals Lose.

I love it when common sense prevails.

While this week’s midterms saw sweeping victories for both conservative candidates and ballot
initiatives nationwide, the big winners were religious liberty and family values. Two particular
victories best illustrate this national shift in the electorate’s “tolerance” for “progressive”
socio-political extremism.

The Bathroom Bill
Houston, Texas, is anything if not “progressive.” After all, voters there have thrice elected a militant
lesbian activist as that city’s chief executive. After Mayor Annise Parker’s misogynistic bathroom
bill spiraled down the toilet bowl of life Tuesday, she angrily proclaimed, “No one’s rights should
be subject to a popular vote!”

On this we agree, Ms. Annise. No woman, teenager or little girl should ever have her absolute
right to safety and privacy subject to a popular vote. How dare you place women and children in
danger and force your constituents to reaffirm this self-evident truth.

Matt Bevin’s ‘Kim Davis effect’
Kentucky Gov.-elect Matt Bevin ran on a bold and unwavering conservative platform. While he won
the election fair and square and is eminently qualified to serve as governor, both his supporters
and detractors alike agree that it was his courageous public support of embattled Rowan County
Clerk Kim Davis that tipped the scales. This support got out the evangelical vote and made a
difference – big time.

 

Can one be a liberal and a Christian? Or are they mutually exclusive of the other?

 

What fiendishly perverted thought process leads to the conclusion that Christianity and Liberals are opposites?

 

The Courts decide when a majority does not have the right to take the rights away from a minority.

 

Theoretically, they shouldn't be mutually exclusive. But the Democratic party has actively turned its back on all Christian principles over the last 50 years. As far as I know, the church always welcomes you back. But it can't force you. You have to choose to come back.

 

Family values.

Does anything say fake Christian drivel more than this meaningless phrase?

 

Hmm, I have heard some refer to the Democratic Party as the godless party and equate them back to communism of Stalin and Khrushchev. Minus the killing that is, but with the same desire eliminate Christians values and religion altogether.

I am not saying I agree with that, for the most part I don't. I think individuals in the higher ranks do, but not and by no means all Democrats.

It has no inherent meaning so we invest our own into it and everyone's interpretation of a phrase like 'family values' will be different.

Get it right, or don't say anything at all.

 

To me "family values" does have plenty inherent meaning, starting with one man and one women.

Did you see where you posted that? Thank you for agreeing with him that family values is a highly subjective term.

 

And that again is your OPINION. Family values to me doesn't exclude gays raising children. That is why the term is meaningless because it is not defined exclusively as one thing and instead has different meanings depending on who is looking at it. As pointed out, it is a great meme to use if you are a partisan hack.

 

Democrats did no boo the inclusion of God. They booed the DNC party leadership overriding the will of the party by fiat.
