Just on its own merits, the anarchy in Seattle is terrible enough; it threatens to spread, and thereby undermine our entire American system.

But what happened early Saturday is especially troubling.

In the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone ("CHOP," for short), two people were shot. One died; the other is in critical condition.

Eventually, the two were taken to a hospital--one died on the way there--but not before "protestors" locked arms, thereby denying police any entry, into this anarchists' "zone."

As Mike Sloan (president of the Seattle Police Officers' Guild) put it: "One of our community members lost their life and police are still not allowed into that area and were prevented from providing that police service to the area to locate the victim and … to render aid."

    Tragic...

And to think that not long ago I was considering moving to the state of Washington. See, procrastination sometimes does have value. I wonder why their Governor doesn't do something. Is he waiting for it to go away or reach a plateau.

I suppose he would like Trump to do the dirty work, so he could get ridd of those anarchists and blame Trump for violence in the same time.
For similar reasons, Trump has every reason to let him do the dirty work.

But these 'protestors' still want to use the hospitals at taxpayer expense :blankstare:

Nobody is "Allowing Citizens to Die" from Gun Crime - unless you figure the Gov't is culpable for not banning all guns.

It is not the medical personnel that were prevented from entering. If someone is in need of medical attention - you call the ambulance - not police.

Sloan is a clown trying to conflate what the police are trying to do with medical attention.

On this basis I call BS.

The fire department will respond to fires and medical emergencies in the CHOP, once police have secured the scene. If a person becomes injured in this area, residents walk them to the perimeter of the crowd and call 911. Great job libs.

Blah - this doesn't change the fact that the Cop is a clown - as the claim "Citizens are allowed to die" is abject nonsense.

I don’t know of a single place in the entire USA where fire and EMT will respond to GUNSHOT VICTIMS without the area being secured by Law Enforcement.

Even in my country (which has far fewer guns than yours), paramedics can't access a victim of violent crime before police have secured the scene.

The folks doing the shooting must have been leftists. For if a KKK or neonazi had been the shooter they would have let the cops in to get the shooter.

I have no sympathy for these idealistic anarchists. They have too many naive beliefs and lack life experience. And are indulged by lame spineless democrats.

Don't move to Seattle. The Governor is waiting for the tsunami to wash them all away. It's not being publicized for commercial reasons, but one is long overdue. The geologists say though that Seattle is somewhat protected by the sound - but do you trust them?.

The Cascadia fault is close to the shore, so from the time there's a thrust and a warning is given, the people will have very little time to escape. They're now building evacuation towers along the Washington shore for the people to run to.

96% of black murders are caused by other blacks.
Withdrawing police from these areas, even black police, is going to make some of these no-go areas
    essentially unlivable... for blacks.
You don't see black Indians, black Pakistanis or black Nigerians behave like this - they are busy
    making money.

Except that the protestors locked arms to deny police entry, which caused a jam in movement which in turn delayed getting two people to the hospital...and when you're bleeding out....seconds count.

So yes, people were allowed to die in order to keep police out. Police should have arrested each and every one of them and charged them with at least involuntary manslaughter.

But no, the far leftists in control of Washington would rather capitulate to these radicals....and blame Republicans, Trump and everyone else that doesn't agree with them. I hope to god that these people get voted out and someone with a brain and backspine gets elected in thier place and then calls in the national guard to put these insurrectionists in jail after a very public hearing with all of thier names exposed.

Why and how were these guys shot?

You are talking gibberish - and continue to ignore the fact that citizens were not allowed to die in the first place so there is nothing to support.

You're right, I don't. I won't support insurrection based off of a perceived narrative that has never been proven beyond "the feelz!!!"

As for why and how they were shot...kinda hard to know when the people tasked with investigating such things are refused entry by a bunch of idiots.
