WOW! Looks like the end of globalism and the new world order as well as the EU. Well I gave the EU 2 years, but it looks like it's going to be 2 1/2.

Then again, it could always end up like this:

I believe your interpreting but I can't asses the percentage of protesters represented by what you interpreted.

You mean let's stop feeding the oil companies since plastic is a by product. Unlike here, the plastic bags in Europe disintegrate after a while.

Why do you think they are protesting against socialism? Belgian PM Charles Michel party is center-right. Likewise, Macron has been cutting welfare benefits and union power. You should study up about issues if you want to discuss them.

IMO, the agitators are unions, not Russians, although it could be both.

I wonder if welfare bums in france get a subsidy to offset the higher taxes on fuel?

So you advocate death and destruction, intimidation and destroying a countries well being to force it's citizen from using plastic table ware and forcing businesses to go under. Sorry, but those are sick priorities in my eyes. If you can justify this mayhem with that, then you can justify anything. Mob rule at its best. I'm beginning to like Macron at this point. He's a little more sane.

Yes, I am fairly certain there are left-wing agitators behind this, but it has drawn others in as well. Anyone who has any complaint about anything seems to want to riot.

I seriously doubt welfare bums drive cars in France.

Putin is not God, but he must be a saint, otherwise how can he bi locate and be in Paris and Moscow at the same time? Why he even had his violinist play Ilya Alekseevich Shatrov's: "On the Hills of Manchuria" to lead them on? Sure proof!.

I don't know. One of their chief complaints is cuts in benefits and reduction in labor union power. I suppose one can be responsible, and still want the benefit they pay taxes for. Americans would not be happy either if the government announced they will cut benefits which we have paid taxes for all our lives. Not that we have that many benefits, but take SS for one.

You can like Macron all you want, but obviously the French people don't - and they're the ones who have to pay the piper.

People outside the cities do not like him. They see him as a elitist city-boy who couldn't care less about the people in the country side. Even in the cities, his support is limited, so you could say he is a president without a support base.

Belgium is having national elections in a few months, so its a bit odd they are doing all the rioting just before the elections.

    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...st-hundreds-in-yellow-vest-riot-idUSKBN1O70OP

The movement in Belgium, inspired by the “gilets jaunes”, or yellow vest, protests in neighboring France over the past month, has given voice to complaints about the cost of living and demanded the removal of Belgium’s center-right coalition government, six months before a national election is due in May.

The problem with Russia is that they report actual news - and that's what they're doing in France. It's not though what the globalists want people to know. As an example there was a protest going on in Greece that amounted to anything from a quarter to half a million people. You could see images of streets packed with people for miles around - and yet the MSM wrote it up as something like 800 people.

Anyway here's Moscow's response to their accusers:

“If you tried to explain to the Gilets Jaunes on the Champs Elysee that they were being organized by the Russian security services, you would at best get your face kicked in.”

It was one of the many reasons.

Either way....... Socialism = Economic system where the government owns and operates the means of production.

It's the American left that constantly points to these countries as the showcase for successful socialism so take it up with them. One day it socialist the next day it's not. Make your minds up.

I took it up with you, since you made the claim. I am not hearing people speak about "successful socialism". European countries have "social democracies" not "socialism". There is a big difference, since social democracies have free market economies, which do not exist in socialist countries.

I do not need to make my mind up, since this is clear to me. I am not a socialist, or liberal, or even a democrat so I can speak about it without bias.

Yes, it seems whoever has a complaint about something, is there, and many, if not most are from outside of the cities. Community agitators will use whatever "spark" they think will work the best to get people riled up. This time they have been very successful.
