If this can be done for plastic bottles, will it work for other things such as syringes and general rubbish?

Would this be a way to get the homeless themselves to help clean the streets? It need not be public bus ride that they earn - could be a pass for temporary accommodation where you can wash, clean your clothes and have a good nights sleep in safety.

Maybe a set up like “orange sky”

how much credit can I earn for dropping off a liberal?

I don't ride public transportation but uber or lyft credits would be fine.

Recycling and upcycling has been my obsession for a while 20190724_153015.jpg This is a chest made from over 100 year old heart pine harvested from an old house me and another fella tore down. The old wood siding is on my house. We did it with no heavy equipment. 20190925_073841.jpg These are some of the Windows ready for paint. 20190724_153015.jpg 20190925_073841.jpg 20190830_121852.jpg This is made from old heart pine and oak plywood . But I spent 10 bucks at a thrift store just to aquire the cabinet door. I have tons and tons of tongue and groove heart pine. I am retired now and can play all day.

I have heard that you can build 3/4 square feet for every square foot you disassemble.

I lived in my car in Venice Beach/LA for awhile after college. There were alot of homeless there collecting bottles and cans they could get cash for recycling. If/when recycled plastic becomes marketable (cheaper than new plastic), they'll collect plastic for money too.

What they need is a market. I mean .... I live in the Mountains and people here buy rocks. Things like Cinder block.... clean brick.... glass... are all becoming expensive. I am going to our recycling center soon to look for some fencing. I even have a wall in one of my sheds done in pallet wood.

One problem with homelessness in the U.S. is the fact that we turned the mentally ill out on the streets through budget cuts. The sad fact is they can not take proper care of themselves and they wander the streets helpless or with some other problem.
