That is because a) there are not thousands of papers but only a handful that support your point the rest show different times of warming b) the vast majority, whilst showing there was some warming in the northern hemisphere do not show that that warming was GLOBAL

All evidence points to it being a regional anomaly not a global event

But you are right. All those thousands of people, many of whom have spent decades researching this, they are all wrong but someone who has not demonstrated basic academic skills knows more that all those people with all that knowledge

Insurance companies have a pretty good idea of the impact and they are worried

Yeah...climate changes...No one disagrees with that. Warmmongers co-opted that phrase because global warming went down in flames. They had to keep the government-grant gravy-train rolling.

Nope. It was global, but much less pronounced in the Southern Hemisphere because it is 90% ocean. AGW screamers have to delete that fact when they are "getting rid of the Medieval Warm Period."

    False.
It wouldn't be the first time a majority of the recognized authorities got proved wrong.

But it would be a first that the person identifying the error had no background in the field and no idea of academic rules

That's fine with me. You've refused to answer my questions about climate sensitivity and the economic cost/benefit of global warming so nothing will actually be any different.

It's not just one person and those that have identified the errors are very well qualified.

Thank you for illustrating my point!

See how so many on the right don't even know the difference between Global Warming and Climate Change? What rational human being would take you guys seriously?

That is a member of this forum lowering her debating style to match what has been posted

There are tens of thousands of scientists worldwide working on different aspects of climate change. The number of published peer reviewed papers EACH year number in the thousands. There are hundreds of universities around the world as well as private institutions all doing research on climate change and the vast majority say the same things

Hilarious. Climate Change was used after Global Warming appeared to stop even though the driving force of GW now CC is the increasing atmospheric concentration of CO2. What rational human being would believe in a theory that explains everything ?? A theory that explains everything explains nothing. Popper would be "splitting a gut" in laughter over "Global Warming --> Climate Change."

Ah, yes - there we go. It's the Koch Brothers who are responsible for all this. Popper is laughing harder.

So there you have it! The kindergarten-level explanation of Climate Change.

However, I also appreciate your reinforcing my point about right-wing struggle with the concept of Science.
