    Inversion Fallacy.

Facts are not universal truths, nor are they proofs. Facts are, simply, shorthand predicate.

My comment still stands. -- Climate Change is circularly defined, thus a meaningless buzzword, thus any argumentation based upon it is void argumentation.

    Inversion Fallacy.

It relates to the environment, but it is not causing any issues.

    What is "the scientific data"?

    Yes, they do.

Doesn't matter... Science is not a popularity contest... It is a set of falsifiable theories.

Oh, you mean from scientists that are now not scientists because they were wrong.

they were always religious nuts, never scientists, anyone that uses the bible to predict the end times is not using science

Oh, now the Bible? So scientists that get things wrong are now all religious nuts. That would make most of them you rely on for all the false predictions just religious nuts. Funny that.

not gonna bother, I am not saying there are not some nuts that will make outlandish claims on the climate change side either, but the science does show it's not gonna be good if we continue as we are

do you believe Jesus will never come cause nuts have falsely predicted it on faith?

Well, since that is what you are doing with climate change without understanding the known unknowns, and unknown unknowns and have no clue that the hysteria is based on the computer model RCP8.5 which is the least likely outcome and which observed science is already debunking.

I have been quite clear that I do not know the future, for all we know we will prevent the next ice age, many unknown variables

what I do know as fact is that all the chemicals we put in the air add up and are having an effect on the climate

we need to continue to research, cause as I also said many many times is people wont change until the change is easier, cheaper and better then the current options - that is just the reality of it

now I do predict that weather patterns are gonna change with the water levels changing, that may benefit some and harm others, I would not buy land on the coast, but that is me

Always wanted land on the coast but the right tsunami and you are toast.

True. And CO2, specifically, is having a positive effect, both through warming the earth and stimulating plant growth.
I'd buy land on a coast that is rising, but not one that is sinking.

yes, some of earth inhabitants wont mind, and probably enjoy the warming, do not deny that

water rising on the coast, means your land would be under water

Your land may be under water but not before you are underground.

I would buy land on the West Coast if it was cheap enough, unfortunately, millions of others have the same idea and they are willing to spend more money than me.

Actually in a very great number of instances land is sinking on the coasts.

Must we invest in solutions that will not solve the problem?

I would much rather spend my money treating the symptoms than on unrealistic cures.

Exactly. There is no politically possible way to significantly reduce CO2 emissions. The best policy is to use inexpensive fossil fuel power to increase economic growth that will fund any and all localized negative effects of climate/weather. Global warming is actually net beneficial for at least the next 2 - 3 deg C of warming.

All land is either rising, sinking, or stable. The rate is normally distributed around zero, so about 18% of land is always going to be sinking at least one standard deviation faster than the average.

2C-3C over the Holocene average is simply not going to happen (2C over the Little Ice Age average might happen); but increased CO2 is already providing benefits to humanity through increased agricultural yield and shrinking deserts. I look forward to more benefits as fossil fuel use continues to increase.

Agreed. Using a climate sensitivity of 2 deg C and using the A1B CO2 estimate shows that we have ~ 150 years of benefits to look forward to. At the end of that 150 years the economist consensus shows that the costs of air conditioning (based on current technology) will cause the costs to balance the benefits.

In areas where landfills have been used to create areas for buildings to be built next to the oceans the land is sinking. Venice for example is sinking and tilting at the same time.

Miami is sinking about about 3mm a year.

The seas have risen approx 7 inches since 1880 and at the rate it is rising it will possibly rise another 4 inches by 2100. Pretty far cry from the coastal cities flooding.
