This thread is probably a little embarrassing for some of its posters, but it will never be as cringe-worthy as Orangutan's Twitter feed.
How did this old, worn out thread get resurrected? Does anyone thing the Democratic Party will run Hillary against Trump in 2020. They tried that trick with Adlai Stevenson vs Ike in '56 after losing in '52.
Don't care. Bet he has a different opinion now. Always worth remembering where we been. Helps us predict where we are going.
Wait till wiki reveals the sources for the hacking of the election. Sure there will be a lot more threads getting bumped. It'll be grand...
Its easy, this modern day which party can go lower started over a pubic hair on a can of coke. And been tit for tat ever since
Assange is offering proof the Russians did not in exchange for a pardon. Try a search. Don't take my word for it. You want corrupted elections? 1960 Texas and Illinois 2000 Florida. The fix. Electronic voting with paper back up. Federal election with Federal standards, not States'. Normally I am a States' Rights person but, Federal's elections are theirs. Vote electronically, receive a receipt of how votes were cast. Initial or sign the receipt and drop in the paper back up ballot box. So simple Forrest Gump could make it up. Room for all to parody!
I'm all for making our elections better and more transparent. Do you think asking a voter for ID before they vote is a good idea? You know, to prove they are who they claim to be.
In the Greatest State of California, I have the option of voting by mail. Voter ID just doesn't register as a problem I mean you have an address and a registered voter at that address and I have heard of no fraud problems with the California system. I find it abhorrent some precincts cannot "service" their voters in a timely fashion. Lines around the block. Gimmie a break.
Well if those voters just vote instead of dilly dally around and tell everyone their life story's the lines would be shorter No?
https://www.google.com/search?sourc...10k1j0i131k1j0i46k1j0i22i30k1.284.guZur0KeJ-M Gore came in second in the electoral vote, he received 547,398 more popular votes than Bush, And the Florida issue, So What? Gore and NIXON 1960 demonstrated dignity and nationalism not to challenge their loss. Both had a better foundation for their challenge. By challenge I mean to remain in the limelight after the decision was made.
That's a Greatest State of California problem that only the Greatest State of California can solve. Bet those precincts are in minority neighborhoods.
Those absurd, block people from voting lines at polling places do not occur in California. I see it on the news. Like disrupting n'hoods where Sanders was more popular in NYC. Vote by mail is also a paper ballot so less likely to be electronically corrupted. All electronic voting should require paper back up to settle disputes. Vote electronically and receive a receipt with how one voted. Initial or sign the receipt and drop it in a ballot box. I am so smart I scare myself with the simplicity of a solution.
