I'm not and I don't need him to tell me who to like either.

When has that mattered one bit since 2008? Politics and opinions have become a totally new ballgame since then.

Actually, blacks flocked to the left when LBJ started giving away government assistance. What a coincidence.

Is that why whites flocked to the left.

Actually Goldwater opposed CR legislation, so why would black folks support a party that wanted to keep them as 3rd class citizens.

Has nothing to do with loyalty, Trump is the opposite of everything this moron claims to be for. He speaks against Pres. Obama claiming he did nothing about the situation in Chicago, what has Trump done to improve things in Chicago? Not a damn thing.

Free your mind, bro. His opinion shouldn't affect your emotions so bad.

Good ol 90's... There's a reason the Clinton Administration didn't over publicize things like the Texaco Dark Star scandal back in the mid 90's. Only reason I knew about is because I read it in a 1996 Year in Review by Time Life that I found in the back of my bookshelf.

Four letters... F R E E. It was followed by assistance. Choosing to get stuff for free instead of earning it is the path of least resistance so the lazier ones will always find an excuse to do it the easy way.

He's threatened to send in the National Guard. Personally I hope he does. Clinton increased law enforcement by 200,000 in the 90's to take these gangs out and bring the super predators to heel, maybe another 200,000 officers would be the answer.

I remember when black gangstas didn't like anyone, even democratic presidents. I never realized as a kid, since I liked music like this because of the bass and beats, but this is the music that made innocent, easily persuaded and underdeveloped children hate police when they paid too much attention to the words and made it an important part of their everyday life.

So Goldwater's opposition had nothing to do with it. SMFH.

Threatening and actually doing something is 2 different things.

Stopping the flow of drugs and guns into these communities is actually the answer.

Actually groups like PE, BDP, Xclan and others like them brought history and awareness that wasn't being taught to our children in school.

Gangsta rap changed everything, unfortunately those young men were rapping about the environments they grew up in.

Do you remember Jane Fonda? What about The Dixie Chicks, Bono and Sting? How about Dick Gregory and Bill Cosby? Celebrities were political before 2008 but they don't each wield the same level of influence to sway votes. Kanye's praise of Trump will result in business as usual.

If you ever make it to Washington, DC don't forget to go to the National Museum of African-American History and Culture. You'll encounter history about everything from Thurgood Marshall, Langston Hughes, Ida B. Wells, Dorothy Heights, Stokely Carmichael and Fannie Lou Hamer to James Weldon Johnson and old school hip hop.

An Emmett Till memorial and more fascinating historical artifacts and documents that I can mention are there. I'm pretty sure Kanye West appears briefly in one of the multimedia displays. You'll also get panoramic views of the National Mall and its treasured landmarks.
