    Walensky stated on Fox News;

    “In some hospitals we talked to, up to 40% of patients who are coming in with Covid are coming in not because they are sick with Covid, but because they’re coming in with something else and have had Covid or the Omicron Variant detected”

    Key words;

    “Some hospitals”

    “Up to 40%

    Thus, nationally, what are the exact percentages?

    Note; Numerous times, I pointed the fact that the CDC and State’s reported Hospitalization Numbers weren’t at par.

    Quote; “We were all being misled”

    You were, but not me.

    For the last six months, I’ve reiterated the fact that due to different reporting methodologies, posters should stop comparing State’s Covid Data.

    AND yesterday, I posted the following Hospitalization Numbers;

    CDC; 135,000 currently hospitalized with Covid

    State’s reported; 120,000 hospitalized with Covid

    Bottom line; Intelligent people aren’t easily misled.

    And in reference to comparing Florida and other State’s Covid data, I kept saying;

    “Due to different reporting methodologies, we should only compare Florida and Florida”

    One of our local channels tried the same thing reporting that there were 20 or so children in the ICU with covid. Problem was that they weren't in the ICUs because of covid, but other medical conditions. They were exposed by one of the local papers for their lying.

    And this is a problem, nationally. Why would anyone trust news media now? Yup, lots of folks are getting tested. Cause, hey, pop up money making industry.... and folks are going to hospitals, for lots of medical needs. And sure, some are testing positive, but they aren't going to the hospitals because of covid. Legacy media just can't stop lying these days, and it's about time folks point that out to them when the do.

    Please provide a reliable Source?????? that they weren’t in the ICUs because of Covid.

    No source....you should be stating; “weren’t in the ICUs just because of Covid”.

    Here is the relevant point and I am not a supporter of mandated vaxxing. If they are hospitalized with COVID 19 or even because of COVID 19, the hospital still has to apply and utilize almost the same level of resources as they are trying to mitigate further spread to staff and other patients, some who are likely vaccinated or some who are not. Regardless, the amount of resources required ends up crippling the system making things so much worse.

    As for the messaging, I think the experts and the system are just trying to still figure things out.

    The daily reportings of how many hospital patients;

    are suspected .....blah blah blah

    are probably.....blah blah blah

    were admitted due to Covid

    are Covid positive, however, were admitted for other medical reasons

    other reasons

    ......comes from hospital Administrators, thus, their responsibility, and their daily reportings are forwarded to their State’s DoH, and then, the State’s DoH forward their Hospitalization data to the CDC.

    The question is; Which entity has only published the number of “currently hospitalized” with Covid?

    Correction; Which entity(ies) has only.....

    Yesterday’s Reuters tally; 132,000 “WITH”
    COVID

    Economictimes.com states; Covid19 Hospitalizations in the U.S. are poised to reach a record high according to a Rueter’s tally.

    Thus, WITH versus COVID19 Hospitalizations

    Like I said in a previous post, intelligent people aren’t easily misled.

    In addition, States have been reporting less and less Covid data, and more than often, the average Joe/Jane has to figure out the numbers like the game Sudoku.

    The point is - who do we trust with covid info? Politicians make decisions that literally affect our lives. They base these decisions by the mass hysteria inflicted on the population by pretty much all mass media.
    The assumptions about covid hospitalization numbers being inaccurate were aired mainly by conspiracy theorists. When conspiracy theorists end up being right repeatedly, one can assume they are more accurate than the main stream information.

    The whole covid thing is beginning to looks like a tool used by D’s to get rid of Trump, only they got so over consumed with their newly found powers that they are having serious difficulty to stop because now every mayor and governor is milking the issue in their own favor.
    This situation is absolutely insane and must stop!

    Actually, the most trusted/accurate Covid Numbers are reported by the State’s Department of Health/Vital offices.

    Yes - "with Covid" does not mean "because of Covid".

    I guess Tapper came to see the light after Cuomo was fired. CNN is supposed to be a "NEWS" outlet not a collection of liberals on soapboxes pontificating as though they are the smartest people in the world. It's why they lost near 90% of their viewers. Ole Jake is at least smart enough to know he's the Christmas Turkey with a date for the employment chopping block.

    There are three lights;

    a. CDC Walensky; Up to 40% of hospitalized patients have tested positive for Covid

    b. As clearly reported by Kentucky’s Department of Health, and many more State’s DoH;

    Percent of patients hospitalized FOR Covid19
    Percent of patients in ICUs FOR Covid19

    c. Carlson Hospitalizations Tracking project reports both National and State’s Cumulative Hospitalizations, Currently Hospitalized, percent on ventilators/in ICU’s FOR COVID19

    Currently hospitalized FOR Covid19 as of Jan 17, 2022; 135,000

    Note; b. and c. have long been reported.

    Thus, what’s the problem?

    That’s correct!

    And what does hospitalized/in ICUs FOR Covid19 means;

    For example, Google Kentucky’s Department of Health, Hospitalizations daily reports.

    Note; Carlson’s Currently Hospitalized FOR Covid19 as of Jan 17, 2022; 135,000

    As I stated in a previous post, intelligent people aren’t easily misled.

    Let’s debate YOUR State’s Hospitalizations Data, both Currently hospitalized FOR Covid19, AND
    Currently hospitalized WITH Covid19.

    What’s your State?

    What do age and CDC listed preconditions leading to high Covid risk mean?

    https://chfs.ky.gov/agencies/dph/covid19/COVID19DailyReport.pdf

    Jan 22, 2022

    Example; Region 1

    Covid19 in-patient........167
    Covid19 ICU........44
    Covid19 on ventilators.......22
    Inpatient capacity used for Covid19.....21.6%............FOR COVID19
    ICU capacity used for Covid19.....53.7.......................FOR COVID19
    Ventilators used for Covid19.....22.9%.......................FOR COVID19

    Let’s continue.......Total hospitalized patients, Region #1

    Inpatient capacity use.......54.27%
    ICU capacity use......91.46
    Ventilator capacity in use......30.21%

    Let’s continue.......use your brain, for example;

    KY Region # 1, ICU capacity use;

    For Covid19.......53.7%
    For Non-Covid19.... (91.46% - 53.7%) = 37.76%

    ________________

    Now, here are the reasons why I've been googling the following NATIONAL and State's Hospitalizations Data

    COVID-19 Hospitalization Tracking Project

    https://carlsonschool.umn.edu/mili-misrc-covid19-tracking-project

    1. Data are provided by the State's Department of Health
    2. Data are Covid Patients Only, thus, hospitalized DUE TO COVID
    3. Data Excludes suspected Covid Cases

    For example; KY Health 'Currently Hospitalized'
    Footnote: COVID-19 census numbers include both confirmed and suspected patients.
    However, KY Health provides Carlson both confirmed and suspected data

    KY Health "Currently Hospitalized"; 2,200
    Carlson; 2,126

    Differential; minus 74 patients, thus, 3.3%..................National Pandemic Average 'suspected'; 3%

    ____________________

    Last, do not get confuse.....

    KY DoH Hospitalizations data CLEARLY states;

    Inpatient Capacity used FOR COVID19......FOR FOR FOR COVID19 Patients

    What's your State?
