It's about time. I am amazed that Acosta had to push it that far to get his ass tossed out.

Not only was he completely biased and disrespectful in his first exchange. He then actually fought a young female intern for the microphone after being told he was done. Then the idiot had the absolute nerve to try and start on a new line of questions.

Not sure why he would even feel the need to do that. The best way to fight Trump is to just hit him with some truth and then sit back and let him have one of his many many many many meltdowns. Trump thrives on illusions and megalomania, all that is necessary to rattle him is to inject some reality into his fantasy.

More authoritarian suppression of the media. Trump calls the media an invasion, which it isn't. The pentagon doesn't see it that way and they have been quite good at seizing control of the situation snd not feeding into Trump's incitement of fear and hatred. Jim rightly corrected him then tried to proceed to the question, which I am sure Trump knew was about Russia. Trump told him to run CNN while he runs the country, as if that is Trump's job to solely run the country like some dictator.

Trump didn't answer the question from Acosta about the incoming indictments from Mueller. Apparently despite continual indictments of his inner circle, Trump continues to spin the narrative that Russia is a hoax. Which gives Right Wing media and his cultist followers cover to continue believing it is a hoax themselves and will approve of his actions to obstruct justice and derail this investigation.

We have to face it people (speaking to the sane here), we are in a Constitutional crisis unlike anything before. We have a president who may be compromised by a foreign power trying to prevent lnowledge of thr full truth concerning Russia's attempted intrusion into the Trump campaign. He is putting people in place and a strategy that will act as a red herring while he dismantles and blocks what comes his way. He will dig up conspiracy theories about Hillary and other officials under Obama. He will have the Senate and AG launch new prosecutors and counsels, while he ignores subpoenas from Congress. He put in a Justice who thinks the president shouldnt get indicted or investigated while in office. Everything is setup to destroy the checks and balances of our government, to isolate the House and ignore it and use the other branches and the Senate to make up a counter narrative. We are about to see if there are any patriots left in the GOP, and if any Republicans in the Senate will object to turning America into a one party autocracy.
