If the EPA found what was there to find, they would lose the funding of the frackers and cease to exist. But the real question is are you so blind not to see what is there without the help of government? However that brings up another issue, your belief that the government is capable of telling the truth.

Here's an alternative. Wind power is intermittent? Try this: http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-41107521

Space based solar power (SBSP) is the inevitable and best solution.
    "
In the longer term, with sufficient investments in space infrastructure, space solar power can be built from materials from space. The full environmental benefits of space solar power derive from doing most of the work outside of Earth's biosphere. With materials extraction from the Moon or near-Earth asteroids, and space-based manufacture of components, space solar power would have essentially zero terrestrial environmental impact. Only the energy receivers need be built on Earth.

Space solar power can completely solve our energy problems long term. The sooner we start and the harder we work, the shorter "long term" will be."

It's much easier to turn an existing coal fired plant back on.

That is nothing but a minor perturbation. It has been in rapid decline and can't compete with natural gas on price. Fracking is producing a wealth of cheap, natural gas.

That's how you know Trump was full of crap. He was pushing fracking while promising a big rebound in coal. That is a contradiction.

The real deal breaker is solar. That will soon make most other options moot.

Be nice if we made solar panels in America instead of China

Not compared to a Natural gas plant.

It's easier and more cost effective to build a natural gas plant or convert and existing coal fired plant to natural gas than start up a shut down coal plant using Powder River coal ?? Is that what you are claiming ??
