    He was a good American who fell in with a very bad lot...

    It's a sad fact that will remain with him forever...Apparently, he was a never-T****er, so he certainly redeemed himself in the end....

    Supported Obama 2x as I read after posting the OP...

    I'm don't remember seeing or caring about this at the time (there was a LOT going on that week), but he found his soul in his final year

    I never understood why GWB made a good man lie for him to the UN and the world. If GWB wanted his war so badly, he should have manned up and stood in front of the UN himself, telling his lies himself.

    Powell was not made to lie. Colin spent 2 weeks straight at CIA HQ examining all the evidence. He told Bush and General Franks he was fine with the wars.

    Again, looking at all the national charts of those countries that heavily went into the vaccine like Israel you will notice that the vaccines last about 6 months and then the breakthrough infections begin. My mom just got over her breakthrough bout with CV-19 after being fully vaccinated. It's time for some serious truth telling on the vaccines and for us to embrace therapeutics in a big way. The vaccine will not deliver the herd immunity they were seeking. People are going to get sick and die that have the vaccine. It's doesn't mean not to use it, but know it's only a 6 month solution.

    But suffering from two cancers that greatly diminish the immunity responses. Probably a misstatement to say he died of COVID he died from a compromised immunity system that even a vaccine can't cure.

    Bush did not do the research Colin Powell did which drove Powell to appear in front of the UN relaying what he learned at the CIA. When the Clinton appointee George Tenet was asked by Bush, Does Saddam have WMD, Tenet told him yes definitely. Tenet also said it to Powell.

    Powell was/is a role model for millions of minorities in the US. What he overcame in order to achieve the highest echelons of military and government achievements is impressive.

    I do not have to agree lock stop and barrel with someone’s political views in order to respect and acknowledge their importance for our country.
