    Yes., Biden was wrong. There's no other way to spin that. He said this wasn't going to happen and then it happened. That's called "being wrong" here in reality.

    That's exactly what happened. The people telling him that were exactly right. Did you mean the opposite of what you wrote?

    Because it would not have been mobbed by the huge crowds that we saw running around the tarmac (and jumping on / in the landing gear of aircraft) and pressing in around the gates, which was what allowed the suicide bomber to succeed.

    I don't why you would assume that's their high-minded motive behind this behavior. Seems more likely they were swept up in some stupidity as young people tend to be.

    You're not young, though, so I don't know what your excuse would be.

    Obviously they didn't think a force of 300K would give up against a force of 80K, and in the end it was even worse, - they didn't walk away, they joined the Taliban.

    It was a mess, but he owned up to it admitting he made the call and the buck stops with him.

    As I said I don't support such demonstrations at such events, but can't help but note that it occurred and not just at one game. You know when that pot you have on the stove and the steam just starts to leak out under the lid...................
