When dealing with the top of the political power structure, has any prosecution ever been simple?

    Stop projecting, you silly person.

Mueller has shown us Trump's criminality. It's there in black and white for you to read.

Like all the "evidence" 9/11 Troofers, Flat Earthers, Chem Trailers and Moon Landing Deniers have for us to read.

Save it for the kooks at Pravda, my aluminum clad friend. I'm sure you'll find a more receptive audience there...

But it's different when there's no indictment of Trump, right? Trump's investigation is over, that for the Deep State isn't.

Why? What would you possibly charge him with??

    The memos were retroactively classified.

Comey pretty much a do*chebag, but not a criminal...

Leaking classified memo's to the press is not criminal? Well, I guess the DOJ doesn't think so.

I think they were confidential, not classified. A good case can be make Comey lied.

You're really out of your element here clearly. Classified, refers to any level of classification. The levels of clearance are, Confidential, Secret, and Top Secret, any of which can be termed "classified" generically.

It's also not a crime when the classification was retroactive.

Confidential is a classification level, although nothing close to what Hillary was bouncing around with.

OK, that was my point, there wasn't enough for a slam-dunk conviction. Lying is something else. It does show his portrayal of himself as an honest patriot is bunk.

I suppose that would be the question. This is what Judicial Watch says, the outfit who obtained the information.

"We have a sworn declaration from David Hardy who is the chief FOIA officer of the FBI that we obtained just in the last few days, and in that sworn declaration, Mr. Hardy says that all of Comey's memos ‒ all of them ‒ were classified at the time they were written, and they remain classified”

Even Joe DeGenova said Barr made the right decision. Comey's time will come, as the Puerto Rican saying goes, "Every pig has their Saturday."

Oh, he will. They want him for FISA abuse which is coming up. After what he's done, I can't imagine that they would just let him go. I'm glad he wrote his book because all of that will go for lawyers and then some. These traitors must be made examples of. Otherwise they will try it again.

No, it means that they are looking to put him away on FISA abuse. His day of reckoning is coming and they just may add to the other charges they will seek.

Comey and McCabe and the rest of these clowns taught everyone that leaking is OK

What the boss does in moderation, those that answer to him do in excess:

DOJ Employee Accused of Helping Son, a Member of the Street Gang The Bloods, Advance Through The Gang By Giving Him the Names of DOJ Informants in the Group
    —Ace of Spades
What's the problem with leaking confidential information?

Comey and McCabe do it and pay no price for it. Maybe underlings have noticed that the rules don't apply.

The Department of Justice says one of its own "repeatedly" helped the Bloods street gang protect its interests by identifying and exposing informants and cooperating witnesses.

Tawanna Hilliard works in an administrative role for the US Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey, court documents say. According to the US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, over a period of more than two years, Hilliard used her access to information to help her son Tyquan Hilliard, 28, and his gang, the 5-9 Brims set of the Bloods.

Authorities have charged the Hilliards with six felony counts: witness tampering and harassment, obstruction of justice and conspiracy to tamper with a witness. Each carries a maximum 20-year prison sentence.
