I've read this on about a dozen sites and find myself without much hope of this ever been passed. There will be a whole lot of bickering as various factions want their own little “fixes” here and there so it will end up with so much Pork that it will oink if and when the president signs it.

Why do we need a separate, inefficient, ineffective, and expensive Veteran's medical system?

We have Medicaid, Medicare and now Obamacare...all using the private medical industry...why can't all veteran's health care issues be rolled into one of these programs?

Having separate veteran's medical facilities, which are ONLY located in some areas, is designed failure from the get-go.

IMO something about this Veteran's medical program has over the decades run amok...

As I understand the bill, it creates more layers and does very little to effectively address or fix many issues. I will have a better opinion once I can read the shebang.
