Last I checked Palestinians are still there, voted for a terrorist organization to lead them and fairly regularly lob rockets into the suburbs instead of military targets. Palestinians on the other hand, sit their military operations on top of schools and places of worship with innocent people, so there's no way to distinguish innocents from the terrorists...which is by design, because they operate like 3rd world animals.

It's odd how we associate particular groups with particular event. Yes, other people died in WWII, some of those people died fighting to end the war, but 6 million Jews died because they were Jews, it was an intentional effort to eliminate an entire people.

To contrast or equate (take your pick) how Jews want to keep their story about the holocaust alive, one only has to look at how many people want to keep the story of slavery alive. I read a story the other day which pointed out there are 48 million slaves around the world today, many of them in countries we want to import people from. 48 million. But who gets all the newsprint when slavery is discussed? Modern day slavery is never mentioned by the media, instead everyone would rather talk about something that no longer exists in this country and claim it pretty much only happened to one race.

The bottom line is if Jews are wrong for keeping alive the holocaust where 6 million people were exterminated, or if the people just want to treat like old news that can't be changed, then it would also be wrong and/or old news to constantly bring up slavery which ended long before the holocaust and which caused a lot fewer deaths.

 

Can we just conclude now that ms Tlaib is not ever going to be tolerant of either Israel or Jews. It's not in her nature. If she feels "comfort" from the holocaust, she's a monster. If she feels that folks so persecuted as jews having been accommodated by historic Palestinians, that clearly isn't captured in her language. The unfortunate observation about her is that she seems perfectly willing to express her pleasure in regards to the jewish genocide, and feels entirely justified then in continuing it today with the destruction of Israel. That just doesn't get called out enough, I think, and the MSM who protect her seem willing to create the conflict instead of reporting the immorality of that opinion to shut it down.
