Contrasting science to religion

    Yeah right...like Catholics are not threatened by evolution??

    Science is not interested in mythical stuff. And what you fail to reconcile is each religion has their own 'immeasurable' even when many are diametrically opposed in their 'beliefs' and ideals and dogma. The Koran is just as legitimate as the Christian Bible...so which is correct or does both sides not care about facts? Science can't operate like that...

    I'm not so sure our form of government works if evryone votes for no more than personal benefit.

    The only other choice is a dictatorship and this depends on a dictator who truly cares for the nation and it's citizenry...or not.

    Once we allow citizens to vote the outcome mirrors the capability of the electorate to vote for the best possible candidates. As we vote for selfish and political reasons there's a good chance we get the pile of crap we have today. And now we are seeing that our governmental system cannot fix an administration run amok! So the apparent solution is to hope the selfish and political electorate will do a better job choosing it's representatives in the future...and to this happening I say good luck...
