I'm sorry but life goes on. The Biker rally in Sturgis, many aren't or won't wear the masks and if the COVID-19 spreads in Sturgis, They'll be problems. You can bet on it.

You have to wonder how it's going in Sturgis South Dakota at the biker rally. There isn't that many wearing the masks for the prevention of the coronavirus. You'd think they ought to. There shouldn't be exceptions to the rules. The majority of america ought to wear the masks which is one of the rules to fight COVID-19 and if we could all co-operate as a nation pulling together, we could have won half the battle. I realize that there are those that aren't follow the rules and should. Not all do what they're supposed to do anyway. What can we do to influence those that don't and won't go by the rules?

The USA is too dumbed down. A mandated lockdown while paying folks their salary would have been the right way to go from the jump but the so-called representatives were too feckless, inept and corrupt.

Actually a better plan would have been q complete lockdown other than medical/Fire/police personnel. Everything gets suspended for 1 or 2 months. No taxes no rent due no payments due of any kind. As far ss food put out a voucher for each household to be able to go online order food to be sent and for those that dont have access they can phone in a order or such..

In January, when this all started, my husband I and knew we were going to be locked down at some point. When it happened in March, we suspected the US citizens would willingly comply until late June, at the latest. We pondered that it would all start blowing up, then.

    And, here we are.

All we had to do was agree to do the things. We'd be having minuscule numbers by now.

Back in January, we discussed the possibility that'd we'd be largely stay-at-home types until Summer, 2021. And, here we are. Florida NEW cases are still well over 5K a day.

If everyone but those emergency people you listed are locked down who are you ordering food from and why would they be willing to work when nobody else is?

Get this: The United States has registered over five million cases in the coronavirus pandemic, Johns Hopkins University's real-time tally showed Sunday, as well as over 162,000 deaths as the country struggles to control the disease.
The US tally reached 5,000,603 cases on Sunday morning and 162,441 deaths -- both totals by far the highest of any country in the world.

Polls have showed a large majority of voters unhappy with President Donald Trump's handling of the crisis, ahead of the November election that could see him ousted from office.

"The United States just passed 5 million reported infections of COVID-19," his Democrat opponent Joe Biden tweeted Sunday.

"It's a number that boggles the mind and breaks the heart. Each time the number goes up, it represents a life altered, a family stricken with anxiety, a community on edge. It shouldn't have gotten this bad."
Keen to show he was taking action, Trump on Saturday signed executive actions extending financial relief to Americans hit by the pandemic after lawmakers failed to agree on a new economic stimulus package.

"We've had it and we're going to save American jobs and provide relief to the American workers," Trump said Saturday at a press conference at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, where he was spending the weekend.

With double digit unemployment, disruption to businesses from social distancing rules, and rapid coronavirus spread, many Americans have been relying on relief measures approved earlier by Congress, but which mostly expired in July.

All so-called representatives own this as do the American people who have taken their eye off the ball and haven't held these so called representatives responsible. If not for the corporate owned Dems and GOP we would not have a monstrosity such as Trump squatting in The White House. The majority of people in both parties support Med4All so why are their so-called representatives not voting in favor of it? Because they are working for the Oligarchs and corporate masters and not the people. Trump the grifter used this vacuum to bull-s**t the forgotten people. Trump's executive orders are just more smoke and mirrors from the sociopath.

If Democrats were to take all three houses you still won't see Med4all. they could have done that Obama's first year, the GOP didn't have enough votes to block it if Obama could have gotten enough of his Party to vote for it. He could not.

First up for Dem control will be reparations, then abortions for everyone. Cervixes installed for them as wants them and outies turned into innies for others. Then we got to save the planet don'tcha know or we'll all be dead in 12 years like Gore has been telling us for 30 years. Abolish prisons, free drugs, and no more cops. Crossing guards will take all 911 calls that require uniformed response. It will be a big ol' block party like Portland, a Summer of love that is never ending.

They will take it home with them and share with all of us. ANTIFA should go to Sturgis and stop that madness.

I don't know if there is already information on this here but there is some new idea that Coronavirus only infects a small part of society. It seems that populations have a high and that then it comes down also shown in Sweden though of course far more people died there than their neighbours. I think this goes with the theory that some people already have immunity due to a cold virus. It is suggesting that herd immunity may be reached with as low as 15% of the population having been infected and is also suggesting lock down is a waste of time. However it would still leave a significant number of the people who have had the virus with after effects ranging from fatigue, headaches and joint pain to lung and heart problems.

He speaks about it in the video below. I head before someone suggesting that lockdowns make no notice - that always it seems to be a proportion of the population who are vulnerable to being infected and dying and then it comes down. I had also heard previously of the research which suggests that many of us are immune - due either to having had a previous sar or a common cold. He also mentions that immunity may not last long and that it may turn into something like the flue changing every year. Oh and he does also say social distancing, washing of hands and masks and handwashing should continue.

I have no idea whether this is right. It does seem also to be walking side by side with concerns about economies and is it worth more lockdowns. I think also it is because Sweden had a similar spike to other countries and then came down like everyone else rather than going through the whole population which is causing this thinking.

    What you need to know
    • Dr. Anthony Fauci, the leading infectious disease expert in the US, has warned that if the country allows coronavirus infections to run rampant to achieve possible herd immunity, the death toll would be massive, especially among vulnerable people.
    • The CDC’s ensemble forecast now projects nearly 189,000 US coronavirus deaths by Sept. 5. There are more than 5.2 million cases and 167,000 deaths in the country.
    • The UK has imposed a 14-day quarantine starting Saturday on all arrivals from France, the Netherlands, Malta and Monaco after increases in Covid-19 cases. France says it will impose reciprocal measures on visitors from the UK.

Dr Fauci has no right to say that.
If he is presenting facts this way he does not speak as a scientist but more like fear mongering politician.
We are about 10% of excess death rate for last two months, there is not nothing catastrophic about that.

Unless we do this together, we’re not going to get this under control’: Dr. Fauci says we can learn from other nations on how to beat COVID-19
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/finance/markets/e2-80-98unless-we-do-this-together-we-e2-80-99re-not-going-to-get-this-under-control-e2-80-99-dr-fauci-says-we-can-learn-from-other-nations-on-how-to-beat-covid-19/ar-BB17ZGRC?ocid=uxbndlbing

I'm afraid Fauci can say whatever he wants. I know we don't want to hear it but he knows the industry and he probably knows what we would have to do to defeat COVID 19. I think we have to do what is right and Fauci is probably an expert on it, or perhaps some doctors that are on top of this.

Coronavirus update: COVID-19 has now killed at least 773,649 people worldwide, and the U.S. ranks 10th in the world for deaths per 100,000 people (51.5), Johns Hopkins University says. As of Sunday evening, the U.S. has the world’s highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases (5,401,167) and deaths (170,019). Worldwide, confirmed cases are now at 21,590,578.

The Dow Jones Industrial Index (DJIA) closed Friday with a small gain, while the S&P 500 (SPX) and Nasdaq (COMP) closed slightly lower as investors await progress on a vaccine and, as Democrats and Republicans debate the details of the next unemployment benefits, round two of the economic stimulus program.

AstraZeneca (AZN) in combination with Oxford University, BioNTech SE (BNTX) and partner Pfizer (PFE) GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) Merck & Co. (ID:MERK) Moderna (MRNA) and Sanofi (SAN) among others, are currently working on COVID-19 vaccines.

Those are the facts, simple as that.

No, we can't get together. The issue is politicized. Democrat party should have stopped to support racial wars, gender wars, illegal immigration, pederasty and all other things that generate artificial hate.
Only after that people will be united against real threat.

THE BIDEN PLAN TO COMBAT CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) AND PREPARE FOR FUTURE GLOBAL HEALTH THREATS
The American people deserve an urgent, robust, and professional response to the growing public health and economic crisis caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. That is why Joe Biden is outlining a plan to mount:

    • A decisive public health response that ensures the wide availability of free testing; the elimination of all cost barriers to preventive care and treatment for COVID-19; the development of a vaccine; and the full deployment and operation of necessary supplies, personnel, and facilities.
    • A decisive economic response that starts with emergency paid leave for all those affected by the outbreak and gives all necessary help to workers, families, and small businesses that are hit hard by this crisis. Make no mistake: this will require an immediate set of ambitious and progressive economic measures, and further decisive action to address the larger macro-economic shock from this outbreak.
Biden believes we must spend whatever it takes, without delay, to meet public health needs and deal with the mounting economic consequences. The federal government must act swiftly and aggressively to help protect and support our families, small businesses, first responders and caregivers essential to help us face this challenge, those who are most vulnerable to health and economic impacts, and our broader communities – not to blame others or bail out corporations.

I can't see how why we can't all pull together on this matter and we need to do our part. people like Anthony Fauci, Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsome and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris all believe that we should all pull together and fight this pandemic the best we can or there will be more sickness and more people dying. Do we want the Coronavirus to take over our lives and lead us down a garden path to oblivion? Maybe Donald Trump would encourage it and we don't want that. There is a majority out there that will do what folks like Fauci, Birx, A.Cuomo, Newsome, Biden and Harris that want the people to do what's right. We should be obligated to do what's right and do it now before it's too late and it's simple as that.
