Trump worshippers become hysterical when the unembellished truth is referenced, his precise statements quoted and their timeframe noted, but the record is what it is.

If you want to go there we should have eliminated all travel into the US in January, that is the only way this bad boy wouldn't have spread widely in the US. I'm sure you would have been on board. That being said, there people listen to their leaders a lot better than ours.

    https://www.sciencemag.org/news/202...-sharply-south-korea-whats-secret-its-success

The government advised people to wear masks, wash their hands, avoid crowds and meetings, work remotely, and to join online religious services instead of going to churches. Those with fevers or respiratory illnesses are urged to stay home and watch their symptoms for 3 to 4 days.

At their peak they tested 15,000 a day and a total of 270,000 we've already tested a million and are now testing 100,000 per day and soon will have a 5 minute result test. So if testing only is the cure we're well on our way and should have this thing handled since all the did was test and quarantine and fine if you didn't quarantine. They didn't close business.

Being this hateful is certainly time-consuming that rant must have taken some time to formulate.

I like how they assume that nothing was being done in that month period, just because Trump said they had it under control. We know that the original tests failed, and that's why that month delay happened. And the WHO tests were meant for poor countries, the US taking/using those tests would be like...China

And if this worldwide disaster hasn't taught anyone anything yet, I'd rather be caught dead then copying off of China's policies on anything.

South Korea's prompt and competent response to the pandemic is validated by the results it achieved.

Indeed, South Korea cannot accomplish anything useful!

Sure, everyone in the country has gigabit speed internet, so most can can do school and work from home! (United States are working hard to get megabyte speed internet, although many even of the megabit speed areas don't have ability to use it even if they have it because they would be overwhelmed!)

Sure, even when premier and 20 of their companies got their COVID test perfected and use in 10 days after the FIRST positive test, were good desting 100s of thousands of tests in a week.

Sure, they have universal healthcare, so no citizens didn't worry about getting tested, and if they were positive, they didn't worry about paying for the care and their system provided money and homes or care.

Gee, they have almost a hundred new infections in this starving socialist country! Sure, other countries like the USA have 1000 times more infections, but its just a fluke!

America, its #1! Trump says so! He has earned more money than anyone else, he was a shoe shine boy at the age of 10 in the Bronx, the son of a hooker, and look at him now!

In late January, early February of 2020, while South Korea was mobilizing to fight the disease, the crazed mob of democrats in Congress was dragging the country through the bogus, baseless, partisan, doomed impeachment charade, deliberately and completely paralyzing the work of the entire federal government. Well done libs, the blood is on your hands.

When on January 31 Trump administration banned travel from China, which in retrospect saved tens of thousands of lives, the liberal and media (but I repeat myself) outrage and hysteria could be heard in Wuhan.

That notwithstanding, the results of Trump administration's fight against the virus are outstanding, the only true measure - the number of deaths per capita is among the lowest in the western world.

Sounds like blaming others. Trump, once again, stumbled and f$#_&Ed up and it must be someone else's fault.

One of the significant factors in South Korea's success vs the U.S. becoming the pandemic's epicenter is the rapid implementation of widespread testing, of course - "While South Korea had tested about 4,000 people per million of its population at the time, the United States had just run five tests per million — despite the fact that they both reported their first cases at essentially the same time."

Trump had falsely claimed on March 6,

    Screen Shot 2020-02-21 at 12.42.28 PM.png
"Anybody who wants a test gets a test!"
shortly after Pence had admitted the US can’t meet the coronavirus testing demand.
Unfortunately, Trump is still passing that gas. On March 30, he claimed,

    Screen Shot 2020-02-21 at 12.42.28 PM.png
“I haven’t heard about testing in weeks!
We’ve tested more now than any nation in the world!
We’ve got these great tests and
we’re coming out with a faster one this week!
I haven’t heard about testing being a problem!"

Amidst spreading infections and deaths, many people who have symptoms of the virus in the U.S. are still finding it difficult to be tested, and many who have been tested are waiting more than a week to get results.

Reporting of the failures of the federal government to adequately develop and distribute testing supplies for the contagion have enraged Trump as governors continued to warn in recent days that their response is still severely hampered by shortages, that there is still a desperate need for testing kits.

The price of the democrats' idiotic bogus impeachment which paralyzed the work of the entire federal government for months during the world-wide pandemic is indeed staggering.

The price of the Democrats' idiotic open border policies contributing to the pandemic is indeed staggering.

The price of the total incompetence and unpreparedness of governors and mayors of the most liberal (sanctuary) states and cities in the nation is indeed staggering.

Fortunately Trump and his administration have saved the day, the mortality per capita in the US is among the lowest in the western world, by far lower than in Austria, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, the UK, never mind Spain and Italy, which is an amazing achievement.

You are flailing about in your desperation to deny the documented record of Trump's failure to lead the U.S. in confronting the pandemic, and the current plight of Americans in contrast to South Korea's rapid and capable response.

There is no defense for the Trump regime, warned early and forcefully by both intelligence and epidemiological experts, allowing the nation to become "the epicenter of the global pandemic."

If Trump is the greatest smartest bestest president ever, why does he always have to blame others for his shortcommings?

Is that the best you can do? You are just so mature that everyone else just needs to mature up to your level so we too can follow the leader. Why is that? Does it take maturity to conform? To worship dear Leader.

Said it many times on here. Trump is a arrogant asshat. I did not vote for him. Don’t think he’s a great man, but he is a very good POTUS.

He has done a very good job and I will vote for him in 2020.

I’m not obsessed either way with him. I’m objective about his performance and the other choice i have, Biden. Easy to pick Trump.

Now that's not true. I'm willing to bet that sometimes he gets so excited that he forgets to breath while writing his more vitriolic lies on twitter.

Why is the government wide pandemic-readiness-failure Trump's fault? What the hell does HE know about viruses?

Fortunately, the reality will be preserved by epidemiological studies with a scientific rather than an ideological mission.
