yes there is, many, many folks dont do internet nor smart phone & they cant force them to get it, so things need to be snail- mailed. i refuse all paperless billing & all 'auto-pay' ...

would work out in the end of days but.........

Paper money is really handy for deeply religious people like I used to be......
and in a way..... I still am......

I do not see cash going away in any time frame we can reasonably forsee

But cash will certainly become increasingly anachronistic. Just recently it occured to me that our extra coin bowl is no longer seeing much/any usage:, I actually lost track of its location: i no longer empty my pockets of extra coins. Then i realized that i also rarely get cash from atm machines... because i almost never use cash these days. It was not a choice, just the reality.

 

Don't throw away your old coins......
within years they could become PROPS in semi- reality science fiction films set
in the past..... in years when those coins would be quite useful.

This is one possible way to cause a boom in real estate......
which has astonishing potential.......

People are forced to have a mailing address so why in the 21 century can't people be required to have a smart phone?

 

who gonna pay for the devices and the isp? who's gonna teach them how to use a computer or smart phone, or should they also be forced to pay someone to do it for them...

 

I have found having a computer and a smart phone has actually saved me money.

It has nothing to do with young people. No had a Hindu employee when I worked for a VA Hospital in the 70-80s.

He said that his religion believed that in the future we whould all have a number assigned to us and our earnings would be paid into our account and we would use this number to pay for expenses and purchases.

The Federal Government could then track earnings and virtually see all of our expenses and purchases.

ThaT was nearly 30 years. And it is getting do we to happening unless voters and taxpayers protest it.

The proble!m is young College students are being brainwashed by their liberal Professors and their curriculums.
