So far D.J. Trump seems to be making stunning progress with N.Korea on denuclearizing that peninsula and with China on trade imbalance issues.

He has also gotten his tax cuts for the rich and poor which will also raise taxes on many middle class with large families and/or large mortgages (Calif, NY, NJ, etc.). Many corporations will see their taxes go down, although some which have been evading tax will be forced to pay more now together with a catch-up tax on prior years' tax haven income (Ireland, Singapore, Switzerland, Netherlands, etc.).

He has signed funding bills without interruption of the Federal Government for shut-downs.

He came to The White House as a hard hitting real estate deal maker with a dubious record of one big success and many failures. He is flamboyant enough to be a TV star as well. His success on TV is most likely what spurred his victory over Hillary for President.

I feel that he is learning. He is making a lot of mistakes along the way, as is evidenced by his excessive staff turnover. But he is learning.

How do you feel about him?

That's claiming credit for much that is other people's success.

The North Korean position has been changed more by the efforts of South Korea than by Trump - though Trump's role
in negotiations will be determined later when he meets with North Korea - so I hope that works.

The tax cut bill was the work of Congress, and the Republican leaders there should be given most of the credit (if they haven't bankrupted us in later years) and Trump only contribution was to sign it.

He deserve credit for beating Hillary - but that was more a battle of lesser evils.

Problem is, I don't think he is learning. He seems to be distancing himself from the people who can help him and he seems to be completely divorced from his party at this point - so he won't get much support there. He has isolated himself in a bubble of butt kissers. It's what Nixon did just before his fall.

Does any president not take credit for the successes that happen while they are in office even when others are responsible? They sure get the blame.

As to Trump, yes he is learning. But he is embarrassing, unprofessional, and erratic. Though great choice for the Supreme Court.

I see analogies between Trump and both Reagan and Nixon.

Nixon was impeached, Reagan should have been impeached over Iran-Contra, and Trump may possible become impeached for obstruction of justice in firing Comey.
