de Blasio: No large gatherings except for BLM protests (video)

de Blasio has shut down just about everything he could from beaches to churches out of concerns for your safety. But when it comes to BLM protests, his safety concerns fly out the window. Whatever happened to the leftist mantra about if it saves just one life? It would seem de Blasio's social justice concerns trump that life.

This is another example of liberal hypocrisy.

 

It was never about safety. Its about power. The worst thing you can hear from a politician is "I am concerned for your safety!"

 

To be fair, didn't our public health establishment give the OK to riot and protest? So maybe DiBlasio feels he's on sound scientific ground.

See, people are smart. I wish I could find the post - I thought @Doofenshmirtz had posted it but it eludes me - but someone posted a picture of Jews holding some kind of get-together with a banner on the wall saying something like "Bar-Mitzvah and Floyd Protest" or somesuch. And there was one with a picture of a church meeting where it was also billed as a protest - it was something like that.

You just know someone is gonna hold a funeral and call it the "Mr. So-and-So Funeral and Floyd protest", speak for three seconds about Floyd then spend the rest of the time on the funeral. Heck, that's something I would pull.

 

Liberal hypocrisy? Try liberal facism and putting protestors lives at risk.

 

I'd take an old fashioned matchbox and paint it gold and then tout it as the eternal resting spot of brother Floy's sacred soul. That would be bound to gain copious amounts of -- as Barack Obama once said -- liberal street cred; and maybe a laugh or two. Then I'd commence with the real reason for the gathering.

Children are supposed to be raised by the community (the commune) by the village, rather than by the parents. Di Blasio probably didn't spend much time raising their two children.

So you can only freely assemble if you are black and/or hold a certainly political position. Sounds like we're back to Jim Crow and separate the races but this time discriminated against whites and especially conservative whites and those who reject racial separation.

 

They seem to have another agenda other than greater equality.

What are they protesting? Do they have a big organization? Organized with specific goals or just some opportunists to earn a living? With plenty of thug soldiers.

 

I saw a black lady.today wearing a Black Lives Matter t shirt. But they are not common here in my area. She was perhaps 40 something and had no idea it was a group with that name. She just agrees with the sentiment. As most people do.

I think most of the "soldiers" are innocent protesters who do just agree with the sentiment. Who doesn't? Black lives do matter and we need to work on police reforms (without abolishing police) and also try to bring back a more solid middle-class so that the wage-gap between rich and poor doesn't just continue to get wider.

It is the well-funded, global Black Lives Matter organization which is a threat, and I think they may just be the "protest arm" or most public face of more groups of people who want to destroy the wealth of Western Democracies. It would appear that there is not just a plan for "equality" (like we fought so hard for in the 1960's), but for "revenge". I think that when the leaders of BLM talk about "reparative justice", the justice is more of an "eye for and eye" justice, a flipping of the script, or a turning of the worm.

I don't think the outcome is what citizens of any race are going to view as "improvements" to our civilization. The global elites are funding this because corporations and schools are buying in. For instance, NBC Universal just announced that they are going to be cutting their white men and women employees from 74% to 50%, just because they are white. Giving those jobs to people of color, just because they are not white, could be viewed as a form of reparations. Of course, then whites become under-represented in the workforce, which is not "equality".

I'm still trying to figure out what all is going on, but liberal university professors are scared about a destruction of our civilization...which is obviously scary. Keep an eye on Brett Weinstein and many of the people he ReTweets, especially the sane black liberals (mostly professors) who watched this revolt bloom on college campuses. Most of them have independent podcasts on YouTube. I've watched hours since George Floyds' death, and read a lot of articles they write, to try to figure out what's happening.

I always get a kick for July 4 and new years, fireworks are illegal, but fireworks to start a parade or race are legal, so everyone signs a form that says they will use this $100 worth of assorted explosives to start a parade. ( i assume this is still in practice, I'm cheap and never buy them anymore)
