Deck the halls

    In some past year, I think I mentioned my affinity for the version of Deck the Halls that was given by Walt Kelly, in the 1960s, in his Pogo comic strip. Still, it bears repeating:

    "Deck the halls with Boston Charlie
    "Fa la la la la la la la la
    "Nora's falling off the trolley
    "Fa la la la la la la la la..."

    Then, I think the song says something about Don wearing gay apparel (whatever that might be).

    And then it speaks of trolling Carol in the yuletide season.

    I think that is all correct...

    A demented genius, no doubt.

    But a genius, nonetheless.

    Truly a genius, how he fits 'his' words into the melody and makes it outstanding - even though it makes no sense. I love it! :applause:
