Dem Rep. Omar vows 'whole system' of U.S. economy must be gutted due to 'oppression'

Ilhan Omar said in a press conference that reforming police is not enough. She blames Senate Republicans for not advancing a crime bill (which completely ignored Tim Scott's bill which Dems refused to even debate).

We must begin the work of "dismantling the whole system" of oppression wherever we find it.

So, since the Post-Modern Progressives hate everything about capitalism and find "oppression" everywhere and in everything (especially if you are a white person of either party, or a Republican of any color), I guess that means the country's economic and political system has gotta' go.

This must be the economic and political system that allowed her to come to this country as a refuge, provided her funding for school, and other thing she need. That must be the system she is talking about

 

She needs go back to her own country and fix all the problems they have before acting like an expert on this country. She probably supports the pirates.

Who are these "oppressed" people they are talking about anyway? There is a "gap" in economics between blacks and whites, and we can do some reasonable police reform, but there is not an indication that some "system" is holding anyone back.





80% of blacks are not living in "oppression and poverty" today. Still some improvement can be made about poverty levels, but the vast majority of blacks have "progressed" steadily over the last 50 years and do not want to be considered "victims".

All the protests going on were sparked by more than just the death of George Floyd. COVID-19 and who is working in 'essential services' shows who is the most expendable population. That there is in of itself proof of oppression. Look at the meat industry and how people are getting sick there. Trump used the National Defense Act to oppress migrant workers and to make sure they didn't report workplace violations. That's just off the top of my head. You can't deny the system is incredibly oppressive.

 

And POWER, baby!!!! Marxist propagandists are all about taking authoritarian power and control. They know the government leaders always end up living in castles draped in diamonds and wearing crowns of gold, while they laugh at the poor peons who "democratically" voted for them before those useless idiot voters were thrown into worse despair than when they started.

 

She is wrong about our economic structure but you are wrong about say that she needs to go back to "her country". She is in her country.

Ilhan Omar moved here when she was 13 years old, not speaking English. Her dad was a taxi driver in New York. She became a citizen in 2000, when she was 17 years old. She's 37 years old now and is a federal Representative in the most powerful government in the world.

And you think this country is oppressive??? Want some cheese to go with that whine?

Omar won her American pot of capitalist gold before she turned 40 by studying political science in college and then using that "education" to rail a bunch of propagandist garbage against capitalism. America and capitalism are working for her.
