I don't think either Republican nor Democrat party came out of this election in good shape. The Republicans have proven to be a disorganized mess, but mainstream media and most right leaning pundits have talked about the issues. Democrats though I don't understand, so this is mainly directed at people that support the Democrat part. During the election members of the party were caught feeding questions for a debate and shown to be siding with one particular candidate as examples. What I don't see is the discussion on why these are wrong and how to fix them......anywhere. I watch MSM, read left leaning wedsites, and listen to some left leaning none MSM new sites.....and nothing. Based upon the news story below the Democrats are raking in money since Trumps election......yea for them. Democrats are outraged by the win of Trump, but where is the outrage over the party that lied, cheated, and stole from their own members and was caught. Does this mean Democrats are fine with being lied to and stolen from as long as someone with a D beside their name wins? Since Trump won has been good for the Democrat political machine as indicated in many articles, but Democrats seem to be fine with the rest? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/democrats-trump-actblue-fundraising_us_58e567c9e4b0fe4ce0880e26 Attached below here is a link to the court case that some Sanders supports brought against the DNC. The DNC has said in court that they can pick whomever they want to pick for a candidate no matter what the constituency thinks. Is that really the case Democrats? Below are the Facebook page for the lawsuit, a judicial website with information about the lawsuit, and a new article about the lawsuit. https://www.facebook.com/DNCfraudlawsuit/ http://jampac.us/dnclawsuit/ http://constitution.com/dnc-admits-shady-backroom-politics-class-action-lawsuit/
already a thread about this. The general consensus from that thread was the D was more important than the process.
This is 100% true. Nothing requires a party to put its nomination for any office to a vote of the people.
I left the Dems about 15 years ago because they're so weak on immigration. I also disagree with their use of "identity" politics. And so I'm answering from that point of view. For the last 15 years I've been an Independent voter. What you've written above is absolutely true. The Democratic party is a mess. Totally corrupt. No ideas, no new or exciting candidates. What's worse is that the old, awful leaders are now the new, awful leaders. In other words, nothing has changed. Worse still, no one in the "leadership" seems to have a clue as to why the party has been falling to pieces over the past couple of decades. They've lost elections at every level: local, state, federal. Since the 90s, the Clintoons have had a strangle hold on the party, and, imo, they've ruined it. I wish the Clintons would go away, and stay away. The DNC is corrupt to its core. And with the "Super Delegate" system, they can select Daffy Duck as a presidential candidate, and there's nothing Democratic voters would have to say about it. They would just shove Daffy down their voters' throats, just like they did with the hag, Hillary. Sadly, the Democrats seem to be totally out of gas. All they seem able to do, is run Hillary again, and again, and again. And they lose, over and over. BTW, Hill is making nasty noises like maybe she'd like to run again. What a freaking nightmare she is. Now, to be fair, the republican party is every bit as corrupt and sickening. Look at donnie boy trump. Could any candidate be more slimy and disgusting? And the GOP is owned by billionaires and corporations; the GOP is corrupt to its core, too. America is screwed if we keep relying on these two sewage filled political parties.
