    great photo. republican presidents and governors tend to drive off the cliff, then their democratic successors are blamed for "climbing out too slowly."

    It has certainly changed since Biden became president. The influx of illegals and drugs has increased several fold.

    have they? if these people are sneaking in, who is counting them? i notice that from 2017-2020 the lettuce got picked and everyone's roof was fixed.

    are you sure there were no drugs 2017-2020? i am not "ok" with illegal immigration either, maybe ins should raid the grounds crew at mar a lago?

    Where did I say no drugs before Biden? They have gone up significantly since Biden opened the borders.

    the president has people assigned to this situation, and is probably well informed on the subject. seeing video of a crowd of persons swimming a river on the news, any news, does not mean that it is happening now, or here, or ever or that anyone in the video is illegal or that they are being released anywhere.

    Maybe you should check the actual numbers put out by the border patrol and by drug enforcement.

    You are at least partially right. The VP has been assigned to this situation. I have seen no evidence that she is well informed.

    Saying it doesn't make it true. So lets take a look at all the reasons you provided to back up this assertion.

    So Biden is leading based on your massive Trump deflection.......interesting logic.

    I don't think Biden has the mental capacity to play golf, Obama and Trump did.

    As for Afghanistan, not sure why he didn't send sufficient troops over to orchestrate a safe evacuation of relevent staff, officials and other relevent people, before pulling the army out.

    There's no doubt independents which voted for Biden 54-41 over Trump last Nov aren't happy with him today. If Gallup has it right, Biden rode independents for an average of 53% approval from inauguration until July. Probably just because Biden wasn't Trump, Biden and company benefited greatly from that fact which independents gave Biden a six month honeymoon instead of the usual 100 days.

    But since then, August saw independent approval drop to 47%, September down to 43% and now down to 37%. That's Biden's overall approval rating. What or how independents view Biden today is totally irrelevant to how they viewed him last November. That's when the election was. It wasn't so much Trump's policies independents disliked, they were for some, against some, indifferent to others. It was the man himself, Trump the individual that they totally disliked. History has shown folks usually don't vote for someone they dislike.

    Only 34% of independents disliked Biden as a person back in Nov. Question 47. But 61% of independents disliked Trump as a person. Question 54. Hence their vote for Biden. It was more against Trump than for Biden as Biden won the anti vote, those who voted against and candidate and not for any candidate, just against one. Biden won this group 68-30. Trump actually won the group voting for a candidate 53-46. So 2020 was a rejection of Trump, but not an endorsement of Biden. At least among independents.

    Today, although independents certainly don't like the job Biden is doing the number who dislike Biden has a person hasn't changed much, now at 40%. Question 76.

    With Trump out of office, that question wasn't asked this month about him. But even though independents don't like the job Biden is doing, he can still recover nicely. He isn't as disliked as Trump was, ever.

    I think the bottom line is that independents are willing to vote against Biden, for a Republican if that Republican isn't Trump. Even today, as much as they disapprove of the job Biden and company are doing, they wouldn't vote for Trump. In might be a case much like 2016 when both Trump and Clinton were so disliked by independents, 12% opted to vote for a third party candidate instead of choosing between those two. Remember what history shows and try to learn from it.
