Has America become so numb by the decades of lies and cynicism oozing from Clinton Inc. that it could elect Hillary Clinton as president, even after Friday's FBI announcement that it had reopened an investigation of her emails while secretary of state?

    We'll find out soon enough.

It's obvious the American political system is breaking down. It's been crumbling for some time now, and the establishment elite know it and they're properly frightened. Donald Trump, the vulgarian at their gates, is a symptom, not a cause. Hillary Clinton and husband Bill are both cause and effect.

FBI director James Comey's announcement about the renewed Clinton email investigation is the bombshell in the presidential campaign. That he announced this so close to Election Day should tell every thinking person that what the FBI is looking at is extremely serious.

Hillary is is only a growing political liability for Dems, and she's uniting Americans to push for the underdog Trump against dems. This could easily mean a rout in 2 weeks.

Even if she were to win, she'd be a lame duck from the moment she was sworn in, and impeachment and criminal prosecution would always loom on the horizon.

Comey knew what he was doing when he made the announcement that he was reopening a Clinton corruption case. The fact that Weiner is even an issue highlights her poor judgement. And thanks to wikileaks we know she conspired with her party apparatus against the democrat voter base.

    Step down Canks.

Nobody cares? Is that why in the latest joint ABC/Washington Post polling, Hillary's numbers are plummeting, Trump's are rising, and those leftist loyal journalists and reporters were freaking out?

Gosh! Imagine how dramatic the results would be if people -- you know -- actually CARED about this stuff.

Lol, they would all do the same if they were in her shoes. They need to save her to keep corruption ok. If "morals" make a come back in America, that dooms their whole party.

Hillary needs to step down for her parties sake.

Or will she take the person over party route?

By Wednesday we'll have many polls that include the FBI investigation news. They will be very interesting.

That plus whatever new Project Verits and Wikileaks stuff has been released. Leftists just don't know HOW to deal with all of this because this sort of stuff never EVER happens to them. But now . . . it . . . does.

Despite all the loaded baggage Clinton might carry, she is still a safer bet than Trump is. The case was never closed to start off with. You need a Commander-in-Chief who has a calm head on their shoulders, and doesn't need briefings that include courses on anger management. It's easy to see Trump's first term would be a pile-up of ugly proportions.

    Uh. Yeah. Right.

Still, a vote for Hillary is a vote for continuing Obama/Hillary's totally rad foreign policy man:

In Syria, the U.S. may need more troops to manage shaky alliance.
    ~
U.S. commanders in the Middle East are trying to determine whether 300 U.S. troops on the ground inside Syria will be enough to oust the Islamic State group from its self-proclaimed capital in Raqqa.
    ~
We have troops in Syria? And Congress has authorized that?
    ~
It’s not a question of combat power. The U.S. has plenty of local allies willing to fight ISIS there. The challenge is convincing those groups to fight the militants rather than each other.
    ~
Yeah, nothing like backing two groups that are trying to kill each other...
    ~
“The biggest problem with Raqqa will be managing the coalition,” said J. Matthew McInnis, a Middle East security expert with the American Enterprise Institute. “If you get an extra six hundred or an extra one thousand troops, that doesn’t dramatically change the situation from a military standpoint, but it does from a political standpoint. You gain a certain amount of ability to manage the situation when you have a little bit larger number troops there.”
    ~
We need more troops in the middle to keep our allies from killing each other? Isn't this why we have Congressional Debates before we commit troops, so you know, we can figure what the hell we are doing and why? And whether we have the means to do what we say we are trying to do?

So, they got us out of Iraq, and then into Libya, and then into Syria, and now back into Iraq?

Does anyone know what the hell they are doing?

Or we could choose neither and have a relatively decent commander in chief?

I don't tend to worry about investigations that get conducted. I worry more about the ones that did not get conducted. That means someone spent some time looking under the rocks, and in the crevices. If the results do not lead to an indictment, than I presume there isn't much evidence of a crime.

We can all get investigated by an agency with police powers. Has any of us had an IRS audit ?

A large proportion of IRS audits are completely random. You cannot say the same for criminal FBI investigations. Surely you are not trying to draw an equivalence between the two in regards to the "it can happen to anyone" mindset ?

Sanders "lost" because the DNC rigged its own primary elections. We are witnessing karma in action.

Actually a very small proportion are completely random nowadays. Computor programs search through thousands of returns looking for specific 'flags' that correlate directly to significant fraud. That is not a random process. It can happen to anyone who's circumstances happen to match one of the computer program criteria.

The corrupt American political class knows how to find ways to sacrifice our troops for nothing.
It appears to be their favorite thing, and they are good at it.
