It is truly a shame that the Democrat Party has little concern for those living from paycheck to paycheck.

The lost of buying power has been dramatic and with no end in sight.

The Democrat Party has become the conduit for unbridled GLOBALIST GREED.

And the worst party of this plunge is that it could be at least partially fixed if Biden was not stuck on stupid about energy policies.

    Bahahahahahahahahahahah

You post an article that goes off on the problems with inflation and how that inflation disproportionately effects lower incomes, and then leave out that we have GLOBAL inflation and that America as stopped producing anything based on Republican offshoring over the last 50 years

Many of you may forget that as recent as 2017 the Dems were trying to pass legislation to stop offshoring and that republicans stopped that bill…….

    Amazing………..

Your reply ignores the policies regarding the movement of US monetary assets held abroad.

The Dems are simply calling for taxation of any monetary assets that enter the country. That creates double taxation on any profits realized in international commerce.

It is amazing that you are actually posing the attractiveness of that process when it is void of common sense.

    Just what PF Needs...
Another Extreme RW OPINION Thread Wasting Bandwidth in Current Events...

Low-income Americans who are trying to stay above water in this new flood of inflation are probably less grateful to Biden and Powell for this so-called leadership.
    ^That is, (obviously) an OPINION.

(The Daily Signal publishes a variety of perspectives. Nothing written here is to be construed as representing the views of The Heritage Foundation.)
^And, this Disclaimer makes it clear that this is an Opinion Article.

I will make an ON-TOPIC Post, before this post is (inevitably) moved to the Correct Section.

Star Parker is a complete joke.
She is Extreme RW, and the Opinon article in the OP is just another regurgitation of the same shtick that she has been doing for the last several decades.
She, obviously, takes an Extreme RW Partisan View--In Egregiously Oversimplifying the Root Causes of the Current Bout of Inflation.

And, her "Opinions" carry less weight than a Hummingbird Flit in a Hurricane.
Is it any wonder that she associates with a place like The Daily Signal?

If you are specking of fuel prices and drilling you might have a point if the CEO’s of these companies were not bragging about not drilling to increase shareholder profits last quarter.

But they were — so you don’t.

He’s certainly setting me back. I had a workable budget before his food and fuel inflation. I’m not starving and I’m not driving less either. I refuse to comply.

WTF are you on about ?

Where do you think those "monetary assets" were garnered ? From offshoring that manufacturing !

Its not "double" taxation, its taxation !!!! You think that everyone should be able to go overseas, pay slave wages in third world countries, and be able to enter the US marketplace ? How do US companies compete with that. You want access tot he worlds 2nd largest economy, you get to pay the price of admission the same as every American consumer does !
