This year marked the 20th year Princess Diana passed.
As you can imagine, TV in the UK had a fortnight of field days to remember the life of Diana.

It's been floods in Asia, Diana, Hurricane Harvey, more Diana, floods in Houston, more Diana, more hurricanes with Irma (and now Jose), Parliament back from summer break.. and last night, I saw something (I watched some of the Diana TV shows) that highlighted Diana clearing mines - That was cool.
On ITV 2 I believe but, major networks have been remembering Princess Diana because of the anniversary of that, and to remember the life she lived.

When Parliament came back, Brexit was spoke about but, TV pretty much had natural disasters and Diana tributes.
