Personally I don't think so, I don't think the whole email thing bothered people that much one way or the other.

No, Hillary was sunk and she had no clue, until the hammer fell on election night and she was too humiliated to even walk out on stage after she conceded.

I thought less of her for that, I understand her pain and shock but she should have turned out for her supporters

Is it really possible to think less of her?

I don't think it is remotely unrealistic to say it did not have an impact. The revelations just reinforced some stereotypes about her pushed by the GOP and the notion that 'scandal-fatigue' with the Clintons, was never going to end as long as she was in public office. Voters did not even have to believe the new charges, to be sick of reading new charges. Hard to get enthused enough to get in the car, with your screaming toddler, drive through the rain, find parking and get out to vote for more of that, when you think plenty of others who hate Trump will do it for you.

It is also true its hard to distinguish those who thought that way before this last revelation, or disliked Bill Clinton, or thought Hillary was a cold unfeeling liberal statue, or hated how the DNC treated the lovable Jewish socialist, and weren't going to get the coat on the rugrat and drive in the drizzle regardless, and still harder to figure in which states had enough of those voters for whom this new allegation was the final straw, in sufficient numbers to alter the electoral college.

We won't know, but we know it sure as hell helped Trump get his base to the polls and it did nothing but harm to her efforts when this hit the fan.

After Comey created a firestorm by declaring Hillary Clinton had committed no crimes against national security and classified information, Democrats were happy, but many "Moderates" and all of us on the Right were infuriated! She got away with breaking numerous laws with her arrogance, ignorance, recklessness, and blathering-ass STOOPIDITY.

That said, Democrats were going to vote for her no matter WHAT she did. We on the Right were going to vote for Trump rather than be saddled with anyone as stupid and corrupt as she obviously was.

So, what was Comey's last-minute ploy all about? Who knows... the truth is that it probably didn't affect the election outcome anyway.

Yeah I think it did, we'll never really know but for many it could have been the last straw

Comey tried to throw the election by letting Hillary get away with breaking different laws. He let her off the hook in July 2016 but she lost anyway. But he sure as hell tried his best to make sure she would get elected.

It's really hard to say. It probably might have had a very small effect, though very probably not enough to tip the election outcome from what it would have been.

I also think Comey was taking orders from Lynch and Comey panicked when it looked to "contrived". Comey blundered and tried to make it look like the DOJ/FBI were being fair and were not biased.

In reality, it just proved how biased and how corrupt the Obama Administration really was.

It will be interesting to see how far Barr goes with indictments against FBI and DOJ officials and those that conspired to bring down Trump in a failed coup attempt.

The actions of the FBI during the two investigations are far more troubling than the outcome of the election.

Essentially the fbi chose not to seriously investigate Clinton even though there was good evidence then investegated the hell out of Trump knowingly using fabricated evidence.

93% of the district of Columbia voted for Clinton.. so umm yeah we have a fully corrupted system.

If i was Trump i would have fired just about everyone in Washington DC.

Hillary was doing great before Coney sent that email. She was way ahead in the polls---and I believe the polls were correct. This is, until Comey's email.
I felt so sorry for Hillary on election night.

He will be hauled in by his former department and the DOJ for lying and for his role in the fake investigation and coup attempt against President Trump.

I actually hope this isn't the case. I really respect the FBI and a lot of the men/women who serve. But the maleficence at the highest levels (under Obama) need to be cleaned up. We can't have a President and a DOJ go rogue like Obama/Lynch/Comey did.

This will be far bigger than Watergate and more serious.

But she was still far ahead in the polls going into the election. Personally I think it muddied the waters slightly but had no definitive effect.
