Did pro-Israel lobby funding influence Democrats' responses to Ilhan Omar?

Good piece about the hypocrisy and ignorance driving the Isamophobic/anti-Semitic attacks on The Honorable Ilhan Omar:

House Democratic leaders who drafted a resolution initially aimed at condemning Omar’s remarks received millions from the pro-Israel lobby throughout their congressional careers. Congressman Eliot Engel, who accused Omar of using “a vile antisemitic slur”, has taken about $1.07m throughout his career, or about $107,000 per election.

Meanwhile, some of her staunchest defenders took little or no money from the lobby. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib received no pro-Israel lobby donations during her 2018 campaign, and tweeted that she was “honored” to serve with Omar, who was enduring “ugly attacks”.

Other than ignorance and anti-Semitic Islamophobia, what drives the ludicrous attacks on this fine woman?

Is it solely or primarily ignorance and Islamophobia driving these moronic assaults on her character, or is there another cause?

Is it the fact that she is NOT in collusion with Israel, and takes no money from it the REAL problem, thus driving her corrupt, colluding colleagues to attack her when in fact THEY are the corrupt/criminal monsters?

Why is anti-Semitic Islamophobia so prevalent in the United States?

 

I wouldn't worry about it, she'll be gone in 2020 after crossing Pelosi.

Why would pro-Israeli lobbyists have Democrats remove Omars name from the resolution and instead condemn anti-Islamic rhetoric? Which was not at all the point in any way here.

Omar's hatred of Jews is what caused her outburst. She is just using foreign influence as an excuse to bash Israel. If she was so concerned she would have went after China.

 

Foreign Jews have been manipulating American politicians since at least WWI. One of them blackmailed the dummy Wilson into getting in the war and we lost over 117,000 dead and over 200,000 wounded as a result.

 

So Jews are responsible for all the world’s wars? I knew Drunken Mel Gibson was onto something.
