In the past few weeks, Cruz has lost 15 points to Trump in Iowa, and it looks as if his quest for world domination has been put on hold. Maybe he'll have better luck in 2020. If Cruz doesn't win in 2016, and it looks highly unlikely, he'll try again... and again. Cruz has groomed himself to become President since he was a teen, but is he in it for himself or because he truly cares about the American people. I think this video, and his actions ever since, have shown that he is just a power hungry politician.
Ted Cruz’s Daddy Issues Rafael Cruz was on the Texas board of the Religious Roundtable when Ted was 8. It was at this time, Rafael says, that he began talking with Ted about politics. He told his son that America is a haven from Communist Cuba and that if America loses its freedoms, there will be nowhere left to go. He also taught Ted that God had handpicked him. “When he was 4, I used to read Bible stories to him all the time, and I would declare and proclaim the word of God over him,” the senior Cruz said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network. “And I would just say, ‘You know Ted, you have been gifted above any man that I know. And God has destined you for greatness.’ And I started making declarations about the word of God to him. Every day, every day, every day.” If only the average American knew that God handpicked Cruz to be President. It's no wonder that everything Ted did in life was geared towards becoming President - from studying law to becoming a Senator. Who are we to deny him his divine right to his throne? - - - Updated - - - At least Donald admits it. He has no filter.
This appears to be the only position in your post formulated to the point where it can be checked. Currently Trump is at 34 and Cruz is at 27 on RCP. Two weeks ago, they were tied at 27. So Tump has picked up 7 since they were tied, Cruz has remained flat. If these polls are strong indicators of the Caucus results, and they may be, they may not be, Trump is running an unorthodox campaign. There are generally reasons for orthodoxy. Trump thinks these reasons don't apply to him, we will not know whether this is true or not until the votes are counted, so we will have our answer in a couple of weeks. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...iowa_republican_presidential_caucus-3194.html I'll hunt through the rest of your post for something other than blather Nothing else of substance there.
I despise Ted Cruz and what he stands for, but taking a video from when someone was 18 trying to tie that to him now? Ridiculous.
Read the second article and you'll see that Cruz's father raised him to believe he would be President, selected by God. It's just as relevant today as it was then. I didn't get personal. If I wanted to get personal, I would have mentioned that he was always smarmy and elitist.
He also made a pun when asked about his "aspirations" joking "do you mean butt sweat?" So we have a teenage boy, acting like a... teenage boy. And suddenly folks that are wholly uninterested in the whereabouts and activities of Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton on the night of September 11, 2012 when four Americans lost their lives in Benghazi waiting for an American response that never came. No interest in that, even though Hillary is now running to be Commander in Chief. But deep hunger for the teenage musings of a teenage dating back to 1988? Cruz sure scares all the right folks.
