Do we live in boring times or is it "The Membership"?

Of course it's boring. Do you see any member with over 113 points.? Some on here say everything is false and where's source. Others say " anyone can cut and paste"

Anyways I'm tired of it all. This Corona virus doesn't taste like the real stuff. This being in lockdown is like being on house arrest, with conjugal visit's, and no willing participants. Every time I put rubber gloves on to go outside my wife tells me "clean the toilet first". My dogs have bit three times since this thing started. I'll forget to take my mask off when I go in the house and my dogs are trained to attack burgulars.

 

Why can’t you have more than 113 points? A poster who is involved and able to motivate others should get bonus points. I recommend Cut Resistant Pants for dog bites.

 

Thanks Sally. I tried the "buck naked" underwear and showed my honey and she just told me to go put some clothes on because all they did was show off my smallest parts. I wonder if I get a pair of those Duluth pants and my dog attack and all their teeth are laying on the floor how much the vet is going to charge me and if I can afford a divorce attorney .

The debates are over... everyone here is set in their opinions...... once we get past throwing words at each other. . it should get very interesting.... just not here.. I am guessing that if most of said what we really think (or feel) would be worse than being banned from this site.. we be getting a predawn visit from the goon squad.

 

Nostral"Don"is promised that the news cycle would get boring if he wasn't re-elected and that is what is happening. A couple last "Hoo Rahs" left and then like Puff the magic dragon "Poof" .

The Cancel Culture idiots will think they have won but I'm well prepared for such silliness. There were many before them to make my life miserable . Some things I really miss:

1. What happened to Ipana toothpaste? You knew where the yellow went when you used it.
2. Banana Flips. I use too steal them with both hands when I was a kid. Dolly Madison chocolate cover cake with walnuts also.
3. Windows 95. You had to use it to understand.
4. Lard. Everybody's Mama was the best ever cook. Reason? They used Lard.
5. Two movies, Cartoon and a news reel all for one price. All of that for less than what a baby sitter charged for an hour.
6. Faygo Pop. Put your thumb on top of one them bottles and shake and you could spray a whole crowd.
7. The Good Humor Man. We could use him now more than ever and he wouldn't even have to sell ice cream.
8. Sandwiches or meals on a plane. Peanuts and pretzels just don't get it. Put it in the price of the ticket. I'll pay and I won't be so grumpy.
9. Cars with distinctive style. They all look alike to me now a days.
10. "Loonie Tunes". I miss my guys on Saturdays.

I miss Iriemon. He was liberal, and I'm Conservative -- but -- he was rational, intelligent, and fact-based for the most part. I learned a good deal from him, too.

 

I think that it is partly that our time is being pulled in so many directions..........
I plead guilty..... although I've been in Facebook jail quite a bit over these past five years.......
I do rather like the massive number of responses that I can get to a Facebook discussion ..... even within a few hours....... Many of my discussions here on politicalforum get a lot of hits due to my cheating and posting them to Facebook groups as well as here!

It is rather amazing though how few Facebook friends and debate buddies..... have migrated over here to politicalforum.... but a few have.

 

Spooky is still here and participates more so on the Philosophy and Religion forum than in the political debates.

AboveAlpha was AWESOME...... but I have the funny feeling that he may have been really, really, really busy keeping the President of the USA alive since September of 2017 when he last posted here... ...................... rumour has it that there have been well over forty serious attempts on President Trump's life since 2015 so......


One of the major posters to QAnon had the literary fingerprint of using CAPITOL LETTERS.... and less than spactaculer spelling..... in spite of clearly brilliant ideas....... so.... that has gotten me rather suspicious!

If this theory is true...... watchout for the next month to be off the scale interesting.......... but....... it will work out amazingly well!

Basically... win - win - win - win - win for ninety nine point nine percent of Americans....... and ninety nine point nine percent of us Canadians as well.......... @AboveAlpha rather adopted us too....... as far as he is concerned we are basically Americans...... except colder.... He made vague remarks about what his job was. I assumed he’d died in Afghanistan.

 

Good point..... my Facebook buddies may have been scared away from politicalforum by the sheer brilliance of the rapier wit and deep insight applied in nearly every post here!


I think that AboveAlpha is perhaps now a writer for QAnon...... but I am biased due to my being basically pro-Trump and generally anti-China???!!!

I had wondered about that possibility as well until I read....... some of the QAnon posts and noticed what sure looked to me like a literary fingerprint??????

(I think it may take me a little longer to find some of those QAnon posts with strategic capitolization of letters.... and less than steller spelling...... so I may have to do this when I am again on my Mac)?!

At least..... if this idea is true... AboveAlpha is not alone in all of this... but his Ready Team seem to still be with him in this as well.....

AboveAlpha did plead guilty to having been in some rather extreme psychological testing as part of his training.......
and making some friends here on the forum was a part of his therapy after all the hell he had been through on his missions......

and no matter how hard I tried.... I could not convince him to toss his hat in the Presidential Race.... in spite of the fact that he did amazingly well in this poll......

I think, based on our last conversation, that good, old Iriemon had "gotten a life". He seemed to be living a very enjoyable life, and, for him, it no longer included hanging out in the Forum.
