    Sorry for the late response, I took a week off from debate.

    The doc can give me a medication that slows the heart which reduces the shaking but also reduces energy so I opted not to take it.

    Shyness sucks and is the reason that I could never play in public. Today my shyness is all but gone but sadly my ability to play is all but gone too. I hope your student can overcome their shyness as playing in front of an audience looks like a blast!

    I have activist acquaintances who are liberals. And I have activist acquaintances who are conservative. And I've learned from both sides. I don't always agree with their solutions but I tend to usually agree with both sides that the problems they are concerned with actually exists and needs attention. Arguing and becoming verbally combative doesn't accomplish anything. It gets in the way of any progress at all.

    I'm a libertarian, so I did not vote in the poll.

    You could hardly be more off base if you tried. If it's done right, it exposes evil for what it is, and that is no trivial accomplishment. That's what Jesus did when He called out the pharisees, and what Reagan did when he called the Soviet Union an evil empire.
