    https://www.metro.news/donald-trump-mourns-as-the-nice-brother-robert-dies-at-71/2115042/

NOTE: This article is not about Robert Trump, but about how Donald Trump is "mourning" his brother.

I find it extremely odd that Donald only spent about 45 minutes in the hospital with his brother the night before he died. There was no mention of any of his grown children or wife or ex-wives being there with Donald.

After the brief visit Donald went to his golf course in NJ as he had a morning tee time and photo opp. After being told his brother's death was imminent he called, but declined to take the 30 minute trip to the Manhattan hospital.

I didn't see any news of relatives gathering in Bedminster or elsewhere. Trump was already in DC late this afternoon after thanking people for sending him prayers and complaining about what he was watching on FOX News.

I am guessing Ronald internalized a lot of the abuse he took from his brother.

That's right, you're guessing. With the Kenyan's brother, we KNOW how he was treated.

Some people say goodbye while they are alive. Some people just can't emotionally stand being there when a person passes. I try not to judge people on how they deal with the deaths of someone close to them. When my uncle was on his death bed, my dad wouldn't go see him. I told him I would drive him the 3 hours but he said no he didn't want to remember him that way.

Too bad he didn't punch obese don in the face (several hundred times) during their youth...

I would understand that, but Trump was merely 30 minutes away. His Trump Tower home even closer. News of his brother dying didn't even break up his golf game or TV schedule. No news of getting together with his two sisters or their families. Instead he golfed with some 3rd rate former NFL place kicker.

Wow, look at how cold progressives are. People grief over death in a verity of ways. IT dosn't make their way of doing it right or wrong.

Putting aside my personal opinion of this POTUS he has a right to mourn or not to mourn his brother in any way he wants.

That was not racist. It was childish and stupid.

Donald is showing no obvious signs of grieving at all. You don't find that odd or noteworthy?

Maybe his grief is transmitted to the golf ball.

Mostly from the stories in the news and Trump's own book. Ronald was seen as the peacemaker and took direct public abuse from Donald without fighting back.

Now, in fairness, death doesn't pick a predictable time. When Trump visited the evening before, it probably wasn't clear that his brother would die later that night. It could have been a false alarm. Happened several times when my parents got old.

I am still blaming myself for not being able to be present when my father passed away. I blame Trump for many things, but this is not one of them. Unless someone else had a loved one pass and knows how difficult these situations are, they are in no position to judge.

I tend to agree with you that everyone mourns or not in their own way.
I see it the way I see religion. I do it my way, you do it your way, and we do not need to agree but don't tell me what to believe and I will not tell you what to believe. The universal "you" that is.

Robert passed away Saturday late morning, and Trump was notified when it was close.

I am very aware of what the situation is like. Trump was minutes away and could have spent the night in Trump Tower which was even closer.

TBH, I would probably rather be alone when I die and you can take me straight to the furnace after that as far as I am concerned. As irritable as I am when I am sick, I just assume it will that times 100 if I am dying.

And that is fine. But the mourning process is really more for the family left behind. Robert left a new wife, an ex-wife, an adopted daughter, 2 sisters, and many nephews and nieces and friends. His widow was a Trump employee, as were many of his close friends and associates I have to assume.

This type of criticism is a new low for the radicalized left.

    What a disgusting OP.

You have no idea what has transpired during his brothers decline. To criticize how somebody mourns, and push that narrative for political means?

    ****ing disgusting. Despicable human beings.
