    I understand. A similar situation was encountered by Murkowski, Libermann and Specter and I believe they all prevailed as Independents in the general. I don't know the partisan lean then, but today:

    Alaska R+9
    Connecticut D+7
    PA R+2

    WY is R+26

    But, even if she can't overcome that I think she is going to run in the 2024 GOP primary in a bid to defeat Trump, but, she may just end up splitting the Anti-Trump vote. Were it me making these decisions, I would consolidate all the anti-Trump vote on Pence.

    I'm thinking Liz will stay if only because of name recognition. Still, stranger things have happened.

    I'm sure you remember the late, lamented Gorn Captain who posted five threads a DAY in 2016 regarding how Trump would lose and Hilla would win in CE - I think it definitely affected one of our newer posters at the time.

    If it violated the rules, the mods have been pretty busy moving the threads. I myself have noticed one poster in particular who posted several opinion pieces in Current Events only to have 'em moved. I mean, it doesn't affect God, my family or my paycheck so I don't really care where they are or where they go. And heck, was it three years ago I started my last thread? Like the poster says, So What? Who Cares?

    God forbid any conservatives are left in the Party of Trump. Only fascists may receive the Idol's blessing.

    But I think we're already seeing Trump's power degrading a bit. Fascists are still holding the GOP hostage. But I see some hope that conservatives might take it back some day.

    Yeah, I always laugh when the RWers claim that they are the REAL Americans. I guess that makes the ones who don't vote for Trump not real Americans.

    Same as GWB claiming that the "values voters" voted for him. Does that mean the Kerry voters didn't have any values?

    But, in the OP's mind, it is the others who are haters. He can't see the forest because of the trees.

    Yeah, I remember when Hilla called half of Trump supporters "Deplorables". Because y'know, only her supporters were good, wholesome people. Or that time when Obama called people in small towns and your basic flyover types "Bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." Because as Dems know, only THEY are enlightened while anyone who has reason to disagree aren't real Americans, I guess.
