They want them and they want them sooner rather than later!

If I read it right you could add a dozen long guns and a dozen pistols to your collection in one year. Yeah, they're really after our guns.

Some of that is 'hostage negotiation' -something to 'give up' to the opposition. I-1639 recently passed in WA, originally contained language that would track and annually tax all semi-autos. The bill passed with 'only' an increased minimum age of purchase, HIPPA erosion and vague/unenforcible requirements for weapons storage.

So if they aren't after my guns why am I limited on how many I can purchase?

If you are an illegal you can have as many as you like, even shoot someone dead with them and they will just shrug it off.

    This only applies to Americans.

    Only Law abiding Americans.

Criminals dont care and the elite have their armed security.

Those of us in the middle are just serfs to be disarmed.

If they are after your guns, you would not be able to get more.
You would have to give up what you have.
That's how I interpret coming after my guns.

    Give them time.
Why is it do you think that I should be limited on how many guns I can buy at any one time?

Then you interpret things like a disarmed subject.

That is exactly how guns are being incrementally banned in other countries like Canada.

Gun owners were grandfathered in, but cant sell or pass on guns.

In a generation the guns are gone.

Gun confiscation is but one means of gun banning.

    It too fails.

    Exactly.

Im restricted to one pistol a month in California. And the new communist governor is going to try and ban guns.

End result, Ive been purchasing one pistol a month for some time.

Each time I do, I also get 1 to 2 long guns as well.

    Just purchased another AR yesterday.

Where did I say I think that.
I merely pointed out that coming for your guns is taking them from you.
And certainly not letting you buy more.

As you are buying all these guns in California they are all "on the record". They will know right where to show up when they want to collect all the guns.

There isn't supposed to be a record (outside of the gun store), but I suspect I already am.

I will be getting my federal firearms license again as well.

In a few months, Californians will have to go through a backround check to purchase ammo, and surprise, pay a tax.

Its about disarming the law abiding and I wont be pressured down that road.

Bloombergs group writes these bills and introduces them wherever he finds a sympathetic legislator. Most often they never make it past the first day but...
Over the past few years the Supreme Court has not taken a lot of interest in gun cases but we now have a new court and things will hopefully turn around. Few if Bloombergs wishes are practical so hanging in there and contribute heavily to your states pro gun groups and ignore the ignorant comments here from leftie trolls as they pop up whenever the gun issue comes up. I suspect the vast bulk of them will claim to be gun owners but in reality they are scared shitless of them.

Learn to load your own ammo. You will save a trainload of money, gain independence from the government, and get better results at the range. It's easy and a no brainer.

That 5 bullet limitation would make almost every handgun out there illegal.

And with that 20 round limit in a 30 day period a person could reload once a week.

Agreed. I used to load .308 for long distance tactical.

Now I am getting back into it. And all because of democrat policies.

That would be fine by them.

Never mind that its a completely arbitrary number.

True story-after 9/11 the leftists in California tried to classify magazines holding over 10 rounds as weapons of mass destruction.

When you click on the link it is to the NRA ILA and everyone knows that the NRA’s income is diwn since they have not been able to stimulate panic buying with the all republican government. Now there are actually democrats in power the “there a gonna take mah guns! “ hyperbolic twaddle has resurfaced

While it does link to the NRA the information provided is about Oregon Senate Bill 501. Get your information from whatever source you like it does not change the Bill.

Looks like they took a page out of the Aussie legislation

Worked here I say go for it

Now how is registering guns, securing firearms and responsibly reporting theft “taking your guns”

And I would like a reply that does not reference “slippery slopes”
