Me personally? This is actual hope and change that smart people would actually support. It's going to be sickening to see the leftt start labeling this brilliant man with their race filled hate. Sickening, and also very predictable.

I can only hope that the GOP establishment sees Dr. Carson as the rest of the people do and stand behind him as a party.

This is wonderful! I have not worked in the election campaign of any candidate for the presidency since Ronald Reagan, but I may be very (VERY) motivated to work in Dr. Carson's campaign. We CAN have an African American President of the United States who isn't a liar, a lazy goof-off, and incompetent moron, and a national "leader" who has broken the law at least three times in the past three years!

Above all, I don't want to see any of the "social-issue" Republicans up there -- ever! Goodbye, "Crusader Rick" Santorum, and you can take Huckabee, Chris Christie, and Jeb Bush with you on your way off the stage....

What's this? Is my leg tingling? I'm beginning to feel that maybe all this hyperliberal socialist poison hasn't killed me after all!

this is going to be good. Hope the Dems don't trash him as they did Cain. Only seen him on the news a few times, wife approves of him however. I will have to do more research on his platform but if he is half as good as Cain then he will have 100% support from me

Yes, but not necessarily as President. I don't think he's accumulated the political chops for Prez. VP would be most excellent.

Surely, you jest. They already have and it will get much, much, much, much, much worse. Beyond your wildest imagination.

I dunno about this, I like him pretty well, but I'm not sure if he's electable after some of the stuff he's said.

Don't worry. He'll never make it past the primaries. The end choice will be Jeb. Dr. C is just warming up in the political bullpen. His time will come, but not for awhile.

You're kidding yourself if you actually believe he'll make it past the primaries. I'd honestly be surprised if makes it to the primaries.

This is great news, and to make it even better if his running mate was Condi Rice, what a team they would make

Very refreshing! I can't wait to vote for him.

Gifted Hands is a phenomenal movie, by the way.

I like Carson. He's genuine. He's smart, he's confident and he's unafraid. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I wish him the best.

the only better choice would be Tom Sowell, but Tom is too old and doesn't want the job.

Oops, I forgot, conservatives can't vote for a black because the liberals call us racists. (heavy sarcasm off)

After America getting (*)(*)(*)(*)ed over by a lying inept community organizer, I think a world renown neurosurgeon will do just fine

Nice strawman. Actually, that's not the reason he's doomed. He isn't a politician, which means he hasn't been building a donor base for decades, and preparing himself to schmooze with the right people to raise even more money when it comes time to run. The Republican Party is much more than braindead Fox News viewers and Breitbart phallus gaggers, the wealthy donors and business interests are squarely in charge.

Sure, it's nice to have a legion of idiots to rile up for "tea parties" or internet comments, but they'll make damn sure to quash any unstable executive candidate. That's why you had Romney last time, and McCain before that.

He's not a lawyer, that's a BIG plus. I've read his book, and of course his speech in front of Obama at the National Prayer Breakfast was amazing.

Some people have the power to excite the American people, does the name Obama ring a bell?

The money machine will flow, and after Obama, I could train my chihuahua to be president

He won't be quite as entertaining as Herman "Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan" Cain, but a goofball in his own right.

You got the "not a lawyer" bit dead right. Lord, if we got the lawyers out of DC, what a wonderful world that would be!

A goofball? So let me get this straight, Obama isn't a goofball but Ben Carson is?

    - - - Updated - - -

After Obama Putin could be President.
