When Fauci told people to not where masks for just walking around, masks were in desperate shortages for doctors, nurses, and medical care, which was sickening and killing critical health care staff, increasing more deaths and sickening.

When China managed to manufactured enough masks to finally reduce those desperate shortages, Fauci and everyone else who were rational is recomending adequate good masks for all.

When enough Herd Immunity is plentiful enough for a reasonable level of protection for the country, Fauci agrees that may be adequate.

Sadly, we need at least 5 TIMES MORE immune people than now, minimally.

As that goal gets closer, that issue can be refined. But at the moment, "herd immunity" fantasies are simply whistling in the dark in a cemetery to try to pretend it makes different.

Fauci is a crook and a charlatan. Large portions of the US society see him as a hero. They get what they deserve. Fools rush in.

 

The experts did the best they could to give us advice under very difficult circumstances. The remedies and prevention strategies were being developed in real time so it is not a surprise that they adapted over time as new information became known. The key for these experts was to protect us from the virus. That is all anyone could expect from them. Those with the power to shut down the economy are responsible for what was done with that information. Since Trump politicized the pandemic, he deserves the blame for the outcomes not Fauci or any other scientist. Trump made the decision it was all about his re-election, that is his legacy for us all.

 

Maybe you can find something he said also when he was working for Ronald Reagan, that will make him not know what he's doing about a virus that is brand new.

Well one of them was the cancellation of my youngest daughters wedding. We had paid for facilities at Hawaii where she lives with her fiancé and all was arranged. Suddenly due to CV19 all plans got cancelled. Sure, weddings are liberty and freedom to do as we chose.

I flew home from Bosie just a few weeks ago, was never asked once for my vaccination status.

My daughter flies about 3 times a week around the west coast and has not been vaccinated yet and she has never had an issue.
