Drew Brees has announced his retirement from Pro Football in the National Football League. after a 20-year career I believe. He led the New Orleans Saints to their first ever Super Bowl and won beating the Indianapolis Colts 31-17
Brees was the MVP in the game. He also had a spectacular career with the San Diego Chargers (Now L.A. Chargers), and New Orleans Saints.

    NFL records

It won't surprise me if the Saints retire his uniform number "9" in the future.

An excellent QB and, by all accounts, a fine human being. I'm confident his number will be retired.

His number being retired is Obviously a 100% Certainty.

    Hopefully, he gets a statue.

Been a Saints fan since there has been a Saints football team including years living in Louisiana. Brees took it to another level, nothing like it since the Bobby ****rt days.

BTW Bobby's restaurant on Veteran's in Meterie is a great place to eat! Wonder if Drew will do something similar.
