Seems like Caligula is winning the argument here. The excuse of people who trust sources like 'Infowars' is that the mainstream media is not reliable on issues involving 'race'. You've got to work hard to find the truth.

So it's good to get an on-the-spot expert's opinion on issues.

Some more facts: depending on the rate of immigration into Germany, Muslims in that country, by 2050, will make up somewhere between 10 and 20% of the population.

So whether or not they are assimilating to democratic (not 'German' or 'French' or 'British') values is very important. Of course some will, some probably won't. We've seen hundreds of young British Muslims -- not recent arrivals, but born-and-bred here, go abroad to fight for Islamic State. And a significant number of British Muslims -- between a quarter and a half, depending on the question -- hold very illiberal values on things like free speech, and about ten per cent show real sympathy for violence against non-Muslims, but that's only a couple of hundred thousand.

Can Caligula tell us anything about the assimilation of Muslims in Germany? How many, for example, like Islamic State?

 

20 to 40% among the younger generation, under the age of 35.

That's only counting people who are religiously muslim, of course.
Germans will become a minority long before then.

And in several of these cases the parents of these people born in Europe had abandoned Islam (no longer being counted as muslim) after they had left the Middle East, but still retained many elements of the culture they came from.
That means radical muslims are still rising up from that percentage of the population which is not muslim under the statistics.

 

But we were told a few weeks ago that 'the numbers are dropping off'? I mean, our politicians wouldn't lie to us would they?
