Manufacturing is the heart of any economy. Even hours today. Ultimately you have to actually produce things instead of simply providing services to everyone. Why not give any corporations or privately owned business which manufactures inside the United States a complete and total waiver on the income it makes on manufacturing? Whether the corporation or business is based in the U.S. or not. I know its not that simple. Because many medium and large corporations have manufacturing AND service interests but I'm sure that wise people could figure out a reasonably doable system.
The very things that drove them offshore are turning around. Once the EPA and NAFTA are gone a tax moratorium would sweeten the pot but should have an expiration date of say ten years. Also they should be required to pay realistic wages and for that ten years hire only Americans. This is something that can happen and should happen but to remain profitable and be competive means delivering the absolute best products in the world. We have to make Made in the USA mean something again and commit to buying only American made products.
