You sooo badly want it to be about skin colour, dontcha. You know full well it has nothing to do with 'brownness', and everything to do with culture.

Sondland changed his testimony. Vindman lied. Holmes’ testimony about the Sondland/Trump phone call was never checked against the other proclaimed witness to the call. It goes on and on.

If employees were lying and changing their stories and spreading unsubstantiated rumors, yep, I’d drop the hammer. I have no time for that nonsense.

Nobody lied except your orange hero and his minions... Check something not run by Rupert Murdoch for crying out loud.

Read the link. Look at your graph. You are wrong again. Even your fellow progressives disagree with you on your tax graph.

Everything I posted is fact. Look it up. It’s nice you have a crush on Murdoch, but I don’t consume his products. You never learn.

I haven't been able to find anything that says Vindman lied...except on some questionable Trump supporting websites.
Even Fox didn't show up with a "Vindman lies" article. Where did you find such info? What about Hill's testimony? You don't believe her either?
I wouldn't expect Sondland honesty. Trump doesn't hire people for their honesty...only for their willingness to make him look good.

Not everyone who went to college thinks they are "better educated" or even smarter than everyone who didn't go to college. No one in my circle of friends thinks they are smarter just because we went to college. In fact we quite often joke that we're a bunch of idiots who happen to be doing well in life through hard work...no smarter and no better than anyone else. Are there those who went to college who think they are smarter than those who didn't? Sure. But they also think they are smarter and better than pretty much everyone. In other words they are just arrogant a holes in general.
That being said, there are people who didn't go to college who think they are smarter than those who did. There are arrogant a holes from all walks of life walking about this planet of ours.

Well that’s part of the problem. You have to be spoon fed by others what you believe is true. All you have to do is read some of Vidman’s claims and fact check them. There really isn’t any point to this discussion because you don’t care about facts unless they support your hatred. You don’t even want to talk about why a collaborating witness to a supposedly overheard phone call was basically buried. It doesn’t even interest you why that may happen.

Google “fact checking impeachment inquiry testimony” and similar searches. Does it not interest you at all what kind of results you get?

The only real fact here so far is that I wasn't in this situation and neither were you. We are both relying on somebody else's version of events.
So who are you to say that your source of information is telling the truth and everyone else is lying?
If you have a source proving Vindman lied than post it. But at least find one that isn't just pro-Trump propaganda.
I just Googled "fact checking impeachment inquiry testimony” as you instructed. If anything, it turns up lies made by Trump's side.

I don't want it to be about skin color. But that's what it's about. People are judged first by the color of their skin. Not by everyone of course.. but it is still true.
Whether or not their skin color reflects their actual culture depends on who is observing them. To some folks culture simply doesn't matter. Skin color is as far as they can see.
Why do you insist that people are not treated differently simply because of skin color? It has been that way for a long time.

If the same police officers happily leave dark brown Indians alone, while targetting African Americans, we know that it has absolutely nothing to do with skin. That is the evidence skin is not a factor.

I live in a fairly multicultural area, which coincidentally has a problem with lowbrow trashy whites. The beat police here invariably stop the white kids in the street to ask them what they're up to. They rarely stop Indian/Chinese/Somali kids (and we have plenty of all three), because they're not doing the crimes. The white kids are.

Just do what I did. Look up his testimony and comments. Compare it to what he said in other venues. Look for inconsistencies. Be a man. Figure it out for yourself. I’m bored with “proving” things with links. You would call it propaganda anyway even though you love propaganda that supports what you want to believe.

That was exactly my point. Doesn’t that reality interest you at all? No critical thought of what it means when all results are fact checks of only one side? Really, I had to point that out to you? It’s not obvious?

Sounds like you have based your decision that Vindman lied on nothing but your own judgement of his testimony...not on any evidence. That's why you provide no other source. You are willing to give a continuously proven liar like Trump the benefit of the doubt over the well known loyalty of a US public servant.
And that's what you consider "critical thinking"....

Yes that's exactly the point...they target African Americans. It's obvious that you already know that. Do you actually think if an African American had white skin he would still be targeted?

You are a smart guy. You have the ability to spot inconsistencies without them being pointed out to you. You just aren’t motivated. Why should I be motivated to do it for you?

And his testimony IS the evidence. Goodness. Someone tell this guy what to believe and think before he implodes. :)

For crying out loud .... it's not because they are BROWN !!!!!!!! If it was, BROWN Indians (and even Africa-born Africans) would experience the same thing. Yet they don't.

I have to say, your overwhelming (overwhelming all evidence to the contrary) need for it to be about colour, is quite disturbing.

It is not my need at all....it is fact. Either you are too young and or have never witnessed prejudice against African Americans, or you are simply ignoring it.
You say it is not about color but something else...but the very first thing any person sees is skin color. Most people simply don't ask a non-white person about their culture before they judge them. They just look at skin color. That's not my opinion..it's what I have experienced. Not only African Americans are referred to as Nig**s,
brown people are referred to as Sand Nig**s or (*******s) regardless of what they are wearing.
That you continually deny these facts is disturbing.

Thanks for compliment. I listened to all of the testimonies. I watched them as they were speaking. Unless you know of some source of info I have missed,
I see no logic in calling Vindman a liar. They were not liars and had no reason to lie about anything. You certainly have a right to your opinion of the witnesses.
I'm not trying to change your views. I'm simply asking by what criteria you came to your guilty verdict for Vindman?

I have NEVER ONCE said that African Americans aren't being targeted. I know they are.

My argument is that it has nothing to do with the colour of their skin, and we both know I'm right on this. If it has anything to do with brownness, Indians would suffer the same fate. You and I both know that Indians don't suffer the same fate. IOW, you have failed utterly to demonstrate that it's about colour.

African Americans are being targeted for reasons of CULTURE, not colour. Therefore it is not discrimination (since culture is an option, and not a genetic state of birth). It is simple procedural profiling. In my area, it happens to whites .. while black people are left alone. Young white males in groups are hounded by LE, because they're most often associated with street crime. Do you want police doing their job, or don't you?

Well, let’s say Trump claimed in his private sector days he was a primary investment advisor to Warren Buffett. Then, later, he said he never met Warren or gave him advice on anything.

Would that be lying if Trump made such comments?

I think that there has been a misunderstanding. Lets go back to where you came into this conversation.
    This statement was made....
    I replied this way....
Perhaps I should have made it clear in the above statement that I was referring to Black people (which in this country is a reference to African Americans).
Examples: The "Black Power" movement referred to African Americans. The "Black Lives Matter" movement refers to African American.
When the media uses the term "The Black Vote" in South Carolina, they are referring to African Americans. It is acceptable to refer to African Americans as "Black People".

If I say "Black people are being targeted"....and you say "African Americans are being targeted", we are both saying the same thing.
It is not meant as a reference to skin color only.
