    No one claims that the greenhouse effect creates heat. It traps in more heat from the sun. Average global temperatures are increasing and we know, empirically, that it is not due to increased solar output. But yes, there are tons of folks who over exaggerate any likely threat this may create, and it looks like Warren cranked the panic knob to 11.

    preacher Oral Roberts made a dramatic appeal. If his supporters did not send donations totaling $8 million dollars within three months, he warned that God would "call me home."
