Trump did order the IRS to stop enforcing the mandate, so that's some progress.

I've said that before, but something tells me he would have done it by now.

And trump has 0 chance to win the election, right? Do you actually think anyone takes you seriously?

I know. Let's make a bet. If the GOP hits the 60 seat mark you have to leave the forum forever. I'm sure you would keep such a promise if it came true. You did keep your word last time didn't you?

    Sure.

If the GOP hits 60 in the 2018 midterms, I will leave.the forum.

Will you leave if they don't hit 60?

No chance in hell the GOP gets to 60.

55 would qualify as a miracle.

Keep drinking the koolaid and living in your RW Fever Swamp fantasies.

    Nothing personal, of course.

    Just a friendly observation.

    Carry on. :salute:

And, btw--When did I ever say I would leave the forum if Trump won?

Do you have the actual post, thread, etc.?

    Quit making up stories.

You have no credibility (as it is).

    Why make up stories?

it's true. You did not say that you would leave the forum forever after the election. In fact, you promised to be back November 9th to explain why Hillary won and Trump never had a chance.

That was a promise you never kept. I would have liked to see whatever draft post you had to really give it to us!

Democrats looking for momentum.. the only momentum Democrats will have is straight down. Corrupt to the core.

Great. At least you admit that I NEVER said that.

But, I still challenge anybody to show me the EXACT thread, with the EXACT quote.

Where I said that I would "leave the forum if Trump won".

    Exact thread, exact quote.

    Furnish me with a LINK.

If they can't cite the EXACT quote (chapter, verse, date and time) they are dealing in MISINFORMATION.

    I am WAITING.

    Tick, Tock.

    Jeopardy theme, etc.

    And On Topic:

Once again, ZERO chance the GOP gets to 60 in the Senate in the 2018 midterms.

Best of luck (to anyone) in finding the EXACT quote. :salute:

PS -- Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't even have time to address this absurd drivel.

But, I am really bored on a Monday and looking to kill a few minutes for my amusement.

Btw--It is fun, every now and then, to open up a post from PF's RW echo chamber.

At this point, with Trumpist Delusion over-running the internet:

I am just happy to log onto PF and not see the last post in every section authored by "Ignored Member".

I do have one for the promise you didn't keep.

I waited all day on November 9th for your Hillary Victory party report!

    I wasn't alone.

Pretty much everybody had her winning.

    So what?

I whiffed on my POTUS Election prediction (just like a BILLION other people).

Big deal. That was then, this is NOW.

But, yeah--anybody who thinks the GOP can get to 60 (in 2018.) is dreaming.

Still a long way to go.

Who knows? Maybe the '18 election is a moot point?

Maybe Trump might figure out a way to blow up the world by then?

I knew Clinton was in big trouble when the Vegas odds favored him going into the weekend before the election. I knew all along that Trump could win after he got the nomination against huge odds.

I knew he would win when I went to one of his rallies and they were turning away people who wanted in but didn't have a ticket.

No you weren't alone. In fact, no one is blaming you for making that wrong call. Plenty of others made the same wrong call on this forum. But when it comes to quite undeserved cockiness and arrogance, you clearly take the cake. You were probably THE most obnoxious on your great prediction, and then you turned tail and ran for months. You couldn't even own up to it.

So don't expect to have any credibility for future predictions unless you start getting them right.

The D's by placing the welfare and safety of non US citizens above that of US citizens are working hard to lose Senate seats in states that are red or purple. The D's have already lost ~1000 governance seats in the last decade. That trend will continue. Some D Senators (like Joe Manchin) would be wise to switch parties.

As it stands, Republicans may pick up a few seats. That can easily change - if Trump's approval continues to slide things may look worse. If it climbs even to the mid 40s, and it might as the economic indicators are good, Republicans may pick up a lot of seats. But as it stands, imo, I think MO and ND are fairly likely GOP pickups, fair chance of a GOP pickup in IN, but there may be a GOP loss in NV.

Eh.... getting a bit bold with the absolute predictions. Didn't you say Trump had absolutely ZERO chance?

As it is, it looks like 2 GOP pickups are the average expected - could be more, could be less. If the President's popularity continues to go down, expect less. If it makes a turn in 16 months, and picks up just a few points, then a GOP supermajority is quite possible. If the economic indicators remain good (strong market performance, steady job growth, very low unemployment [which if sustained will lead to wage growth]) and the GOP just does an OK job at the political messaging game, then that's quite possible. There are just a lot of ways for Trump to get in the way.

Your predicting this is the best indicator that Republicans will sweep the Senate.

Poll: Gov. Rick Scott Competitive Against Sen. Bill Nelson In 2018

A new poll from the Morning Consult shows Florida Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson has reason to worry about a possible challenge in 2018 from the state’s Republican Gov. Rick Scott.

According to the January to March survey of 8,793 Florida voters, Gov. Scott has a 57 percent approval rating. That number is 8 points higher from a poll released last September showing Scott with a 49 percent approval rating.

Although Nelson has a 53 percent approval rating in the same survey, his name identification does not go very far with voters in the Sunshine State. Over one in Florida five voters don’t know enough about Nelson, a three-term senator, to have an opinion on him.

The Tampa Bay Times notes that should Scott decide to run against Nelson, he will be better funded for his campaign than Nelson’s previous Republican challengers Connie Mack IV and Katharine Harris.

“Both Senator Nelson and Governor Scott have relatively strong approval ratings,” said Morning Consult’s Chief Research Officer Kyle Dropp. “However, if Scott enters the race he will immediately have a valuable leg-up in terms of name ID. More than a fifth (21 percent) of Florida voters aren’t familiar with Nelson, compared to just 7 percent for Scott.”
