Leftists are wearing out their welcome on all the free stages they've been given -- or have commandeered. Sane America doesn't live and breath Anti-Trump / Identity/Victim-Oppressor / Racial Politics 24/7 like they do, and would probably prefer to enjoy an awards show, beauty pageant, football game, et al, without the near constant interruptions from the annoying Butthurt Battalion.

    or is it just me?

Not gonna lie. I used to love watching the Emmys or Oscars, but now, I hate the majority of actors so much that I can't watch.

A couple years back when folks got pissed there weren't black nominations for the Oscars, I couldn't hardly watch. This last Emmys theme was freaking diversity, lol. They might as well put a quota on ethnic nominations now. All credibility is gone as far as actual merit.

My brother is second producer of the SAG Awards show and I can't even watch it....I've been invited to attend every year for over a decade and always make up a lame excuse. Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of his accomplishments and he's good at what he does, but that whole plastic, pretentious Hollywood scene has always been revolting to me...and now that they can't resist an opportunity to drag their morally and intellectually 'superior' politics into their dog and pony shows, it's even worse.

Those running Entertainment and Sports have shown repeatedly that they do not respect so many Americans. For that, we respectfully turn our backs and let them suffer their failure without our participation.

The Left have become authoritarian and in some areas fascists.

Well..in all honesty, part of the reason I don't go is I live in Florida and don't fly.....I used to occasionally fly, but I used to be a drunk and a drug addict...I could handle it bombed out of my gourd. I've been clean and sober for almost 11 years now, and you couldn't drag me on one of those things with a team of mules. lol. He and his husband come to Florida a few times a year.

No more idiotic than the Conservatives who think their message is bringing Americans together.

I disagree, the stadium wasn't much better last weekend either from the pictures I've seen. Historically even bad football teams used to sell out their stadiums or at least fill way more seats than that. Ask Raider fans. Plus the Saints rarely have a winning record and we fill way more seats than that, even when it's apparent we have no shot at making the playoffs the Superdome is still full.

I honestly believe this is a product of the common state of the NFL and their insistence on spotlighting these protesting players. The 49'ers are a garbage football team for one and they are also the ones who started this whole controversy with Kaepernick. Whether the NFL or these protesters want to accept it or not, sitting down during the national anthem is considered highly disrespectful to this country in the eyes of A LOT of people here and many folks take personal offense to that. They can have controversy all they want but they must also accept the consequences.

What people don't realize is that folks use sports and other forms of entertainment as a way to relax and escape every day life. It's supposed to be fun to watch. Politics and current events are a touchy subject for a lot of folks and can get people riled up pretty quickly.

In layman's terms, discussing politics has a tendency to piss people off pretty quickly, and kneeling during the national anthem, spotlighting those who do, then spending 10 mins talking about those who do during the game pisses people off so they stop watching and/or paying their hard earned money to support the league. The only time I want to get upset when watching football is when my team makes a bad play, not because I see some millionaire kid on the sideline disrespecting our country regardless of how he personally feels.

I know for me personally I will not be attending another game until the NFL changes it's ways. I'm not spending 300+ dollars to contribute to a league that spotlights the blatant disrespect of our country this way. And from what I'm seeing plenty of other folks feel the same way which is why the 49'ers stadium looks like a high school football game during kickoff.

Cut this crap out or go bankrupt, period. That goes for all forms of entertainment from the Emmy's to the NFL. The common man is sick of hearing about your political opinions and using public venues to voice them.

Ya never watch the leftist actors in the wild, the only time they're worth watching is when they are leashed and spoon fed lines! Except for Keanu Reeves he has a heart of gold and a truly beautiful Person inside and out!
