Estonia is a member of NATO. In other words, Estonia understands perfectly well what the fifth article of the NATO charter really means. :roflol::roflol::roflol:

Have you ever tried to understand WHY the Estonians chose the NATO?

Military strategists and a lot of the most powerful politicians here think of the
World as just a game - Kill 100,000 people, earn one point.

Whose country is Estonia anyway? Doesn't it really belong to the population?

Since when was blowing up your own country an option?

I might think this a spoof, but more inclined to consider it a serious thought
experiment because that is what has been going on in Ukraine.

The people of Ukraine have zero to gain from going to war with Russia.

The US Biden/neocons wanted to brag that all of the former Soviet satellites
are now in NATO, with the West, and to move missiles ever closer
to Moscow which has also been going on.

What's in it for the people who lived in Ukraine? Nothing.
What's in it for us ordinary people of the USA? Nothing.

But if the US wins in Ukraine, and gets Georgia and Belarus, then
the Neocons were right all along, and G W Bush and Ronnie
Reagan can stand proud as the best Presidents of the US ever.

    Wrong. Another try?

Hint: Read about the history of Estonia in 20th century.

Do you know that Estonia was NOT bribed? That there was no Quid pro quo? I've read and seen enough to know how the US government operates, and bribery and coercion are 2 pillars of their Modus Operandi. Maybe they weren't, but it's a safe bet they were.

It's very simple. Estonia is a banal country-prostitute. As soon as the USSR's hold weakened, Estonia, like a number of other similar countries, quickly found a new master for itself.
And I assure you, as soon as Russia restores the multipolar world, all these countries- prostitute will instantly change their policies and will start praising Russia with ecstasy.
This has already happened many times in history.

    Estonia. Recognize the portrait?

Right: In Russian, not Latvian, and with the portait of Stalin, not Gorbatchov, and it says back to USSR, not back to Russia

Estonia, as well as Lithuania and Latvia re great countries with a long tradition of culture and commerce. Estonia is no part of Russia and never will be again. Estonian people vote for parties that promise to keep the country free from Russian terror, a tragedy Estonians had to suffer so many decennials!

If you want to have Stalin back: Why are you still here? Putin is the best imitation of Stalin since the master himself!

If we talk about Estonia, it's a microscopic country-prostitute. By the way, I have been to Talina (it is the capital of Estonia). I lived in the Hotel Palace on Paltise Mante (I don't know whether it's the right way to write it or not, but the name street sounds like that). There is nothing to see there except the old town. 15 minutes walk from the hotel to the outskirts and you get into some kind of ghetto. Only Russian-speaking people are decent, the rest with the intelligence of an old chimpanzee.

So it is too little to earn to be sovereign? Are small women also prostitues to you?

You made my day. This is exactly what the Baltic countries are so alarmed: Under Sowjet/Russian supression they didn't count as humans, either. Your wording is disgusting, to be honest..

I note that you're glossing over the fact that Estonia feels the need to make detailed plans for an invasion by Russia despite the claims that Putin has no intention of going beyond Ukraine or the fact that they'd consider such extreme forms of defence, suggesting that they know what Russian invaders would do could be even worse.

    1. Country-prostitute is not an insult, it's a fact. If you want, you can call it a way of survival. A prostitute country cannot exist without a powerful master and is always looking for one.
For example, the Baltic countries are always looking for a master - it was the Swedes, the Russians (by the way, the Russian Tsar, Peter the Great, bought the Baltic countries from the Swedes), the Germans.... now the Americans are the masters. And as the pax americana goes into the sunset, the Baltic states will be looking for a new master. And they will start cursing the Americans with hysterical enthusiasm and wiggling their asses in front of the new master. It's inevitable. And it's a fact proven by history.

    2. the fact that Estonians in their overwhelming number (of course not all of them. There are intelligent people among them, but they are so few at the moment that it even surprises me) have the intelligence of an old chimpanzee, which is not an insult, but a fact.
Answer yourself, with what do you compare “intelligence” if you hold parades of SS veterans, for example?
What do you compare “intelligence” with to have people with the definition of “non-citizens” in the 21st century?
What do you compare “intelligence” to if you systematically destroy your country's economy? ....
I looked at these questions and it became obvious - comparing the intelligence of Estonians to an old chimpanzee belittles the old chimpanzee. An old chimpanzee will not destroy the welfare of its pack.
Therefore, comparing Estonians with an old chimpanzee is a compliment to Estonians. (The same can be said about Latvians, Lithuanians, Finns (these are even dumber), Bulgarians are also not far behind.... In general, Estonians are not alone in their stupidity)

That is how we've been doing it since the end of WWII and the overthrow of Mossadegh in Iran. It is bribery in the widest sense of the word, rather like the way Israel bribes the US Congress through AIPAC

Because that's how rich powerful corrupt governments roll. Because they wanted to surround Russia with NATO bases.

    Hmmm......just because....

Well, if you have proof the US bribed Estonia, then bring it forth. How big was the bribe?

Did they bribe Finland and Sweden too?

You overestimate the Estonians. First of all, they don't decide anything, they only execute what the US has decided. And secondly, the number of Estonian residents is just over 1300 thousand people. In the city of St. Petersburg alone the population is about 6 million people. Who is the dwarf Estonia going to fight with?

You're still evading the point? Do you agree that Estonians have a legitimate concern about Russia attempting to invade their country and a legitimate fear that if there was any attempt at defence (their own and/or via NATO), the Russia response would be intentionally devastating?
